This, but it's in the Administrators' best financial interests to sell the stock, but there's no guarantee that they will sell it to the people who pre-ordered it. It's not worth risking it. Just call the bank and try to get the money back. Sucks to be anyone who ordered from them. I'm sure tomorrow they will release a public statement about the iP6 orders.

It also depends if Apple let them have that stock, I'm not sure Apple want to run the risk of a shed load of unhappy iPhone launch customers.

Apple may prefer to re route the stock elsewhere and let P4U take the heat for this one.

I suspect Carphone Warehouse may be the next ones to go, as 3 have already pulled out from them and it would appear the remaining 3 providers (Vodafone, O2 & EE) aren't overly keen about paying commission to other retailers to sell their products, when they will almost certainly have their own retail store in the same town.

Plus-CPW have now merged with the Dixon group (the mob that own PC World & Currys), so that's never going to be great for customer service.

Please Help!

If I ordered mine on Three, and then at the time of my ordering it said delivery 19th, is it likely I will get mine on the 19th or will mine have been pushed back?

This is important because I need to know if this is potentially the case to get a temporary in the mean time.

Just heard about P4U. Feel sorry for you guys who ordered through them and now have no clue what will happen to your orders.

Probably will get it on 19th. Unless they state it has been pushed back, I think you're fine.

It was also a real lowlife decision by those at the top of P4U to continue to take people's money, when they clearly knew they were about to go in to administration.

Of course that shows exactly the sort of company they are and why they are in this trouble. Only cared about short terms profits and will do anything to get them at the expense of the customer.

That's been my view of them for a long long time.

Their original owner I believe "incentivised" staff by saying they could be as successful & wealthy as he is.

This led to staff using all kinds of underhand tactics to nail a sale.

They didn't give a hoot about what was the best deal for you the customer, just which one would make them the most cash.

Even now, when I walk past, they all ook like a bunch of wide boy estate agents, ready to sell you a phone or a house.

Sharks to be avoided at all costs.

The high street will be a safer place for consumers without P4U.

Sorry if this has been said before, and it might also be a daft question, but if you buy an iPhone from say Carphone Warehouse, can you then separately buy AppleCare+ from Apple? Their website won't let you do it unless an iPhone is also in the basket. May be you have to call them to set this up/ buy it?

Yes you can. I did last year.

Hey guys,

I preordered a 6+ 64gb from the apple store, about 1 hour after it came online (annoyingly at 8am I'm on a train to work so had to wait till I was at work to order!).

I got the '3-4 weeks' shipping. Which is fine but obviously I'd like to get one sooner if I can.

Did anyone manage to get better than that on a 6+ 64 gig from the apple store?

Should I cancel the preorder and try to get one on the day?

Cheers,

It was still 3-4 week when your order went through at 8.30:eek:

I wonder why the carriers appear to have much more stock than Apple.

yep it sucks,
was told by apple its down to where you live.
why should that matter when your ordering from their website not your local store.

I got a shipping confirmation email and got excited to then find out that it was my iPhone 6+ case that had shipped :-(

You can try and get one from the store, if you do then cancel the pre order if not then keep the pre order. :)
