Mine still says Preparing for Despatch and a Delivery for 19/09.
In my experience there's always a delay to the status and when things start moving it happens really quickly!
Still looking forward to Friday!

Alright then ! Thanks for the info. Btw, does anyone know if I can go to a Three Store and ask them to cut my microSIM into a nanoSIM? Honestly, I'd much rather do that than buying a new sim...

In US, they use the phone number to tracker things early, we can't here for some reason.

Could it just be that UPS haven't received ours and started shipping them yet? Tracking with our phone numbers could start in the near future.

Yeah it was somewhat difficult to set my EE F+F discount up too.

Got there in the end though, now pay less than £15 for 4gb data on sim only, ready for my £700 outlay on the phone.

I'll prob still switch back to 3 when I can.

Hi so how did you go about making them apply the F +f discount as I want my transition from tmobile to ee as hassle free as possible thanks. P.s is it better to do it over the phone or in an ee store?

Really? I'm sure this worked last year for UK

I think it depends where you are tracking from, from what I remember last year the phones were shipped from China close to the launch date... so they were trackable.

If they have got their act together they usually ship them to the UK and then distribute from there.

I do remember tracking the iPhone from China for the 5s, then other launches it has been like this

I did it over the phone with mine and my wife's accounts, from Orange to EE and the discount came over fine.... but I had the discount applied before I moved.

It is worth double checking as my dad lost his discount ... he did not notice that it had been removed for over a year... and they would not re-aply it

Has anyone had their Spigen case or screen protector delivered that has ordered from their UK ebay store?

I ordered on the 11th and I have an estimate dispatch date of 24/10 but have seen folks having received theirs already..

I have ordered a glasst.r and a neo hybrid if anyone had received either of those and can confirm, that would be great.

Thanks, thinking of going sim only now but unfortunately they only go up to 4gb for sim only.Do you know if anybody in the uk got a 19/9delivery date for iPhone 6 plus from apple as I ordered around 9 ( despite having been up since 6 refreshing every gadget I had)and got October

Alright then ! Thanks for the info. Btw, does anyone know if I can go to a Three Store and ask them to cut my microSIM into a nanoSIM? Honestly, I'd much rather do that than buying a new sim...

I called Three this morning about a contract alteration, and mentioned SWMBO needed a nano sim as she was upgrading from a 4S. The lady at Three support suggested going into a Three Store and that they would be able to give you a replacement nano-sim with the same number that would activate right away. There's a cost of about £5.70 or something close to that, can't remember the exact figure.

I'm going to wait till our phones arrive, then I'll offer to cut her sim down to a nano and see if that works. If not we're straight off to the Three store for the replacement. I wouldn't bother to try cutting it if I didn't already have a sim cutter. :)

Is EE F+F discount 40% across the board?

I have a friend who works for EE and whilst currently I think their prices are uncompetitive, I could be persuaded to a higher one, with 40% bringing it down to a more competitive cost.

Also, in think the max data you can get on a SIM Only deal is 4GB.

I don't think so, try your local independent phone shop that does unlocking and repairs, most of them have a sim cutter (or buy one from eBay, they are only a couple of pound).

Yes mine arrived on Saturday both items for the 6 Plus. Ordered on 12th of September. Both orders were placed separately so two packages arrived.

Is it a 6 or a six plus that you have ordered? I know pretty much every other Spigen case for the six plus will not be released till the end of Sep - beginning of Oct. i have also ordered a Spigen Neo Hybrid and the estimated dispatch date is 6/10/14.

I went in with my son recently to get a Nano Sim for his 5S (he moved from a 4).

Just so you know, they didn't charge anything, but it also doesn't activate "on the spot".

Well it never happened before, not sure they'll do that for us anytime soon, this Phone Number tracking method have been going for long time in US.

I am not about other stuff ordered and posted through UPS, I think this happens only with Apple.

Yeah F+F is across the board although I doubt you'd be allowed to apply it to a tariff with the iPhone 6 for the first 6 months

I think some folks got luck with 19/9 delivery for iPhone6 plus.

I know what you mean regarding the 4GB Sim Only ... I have 8GB Sim only, but I have had that for a year ... every now and again I look to see if there is a cheaper tariff ... yes, but only a maximum of 4GB ... so I am holding onto my 8GB tariff until they release one with higher data.

Just saw a post on another thread with someone's iPhone being shipped from the UK to the US, it looks like they already have stock somewhere in the country. So I guess that means that we will get our tracking numbers later on in the week, if they are being distributed internally.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll try to cut it myself by watching a few tutorials and if it doesn't work I can always buy a new nanoSIM then. Can´t wait for Friday heheh

Yeah, that's a great idea! I already thought about buying a SIM cutter, but it feels a bit odd to buy a tool I'll be using only once.

Only few days left anyway and we're all panicking to get our tracker numbers lol.

Order a Nano sim online and call Three and say I want my number transferred to this sim... if they ask why, tell em you're moving from Micro sim phone to Nano sim phone, I did that last time, and they got my number transferred after an hr or two.

Previously Apple has used Synchreon in Leicestershire as the holding point for UK distribution...

But i know last year my iPad mini got shipped direct from Shenzen at launch ... so it depends where they are with initial stock assembly

I'd suspect some are in the UK already, in which case you'll get a 'dispatched' notice on Thursday with a variety of national carriers (UPS / FedEx etc)

People tend to forget to also factor in resale value - your phone will probably sell for less in 2 years time if it's locked rather than unlocked - if you use one of the phone trade-in companies the difference can be considerable depending on the network. e.g selling an iPhone 4S 16GB on envirofone today:

Unlocked: £115
EE: £65

You can also expect similar differences on eBay etc.

Of course this might not be your intention, or the reduced up-front cost might make it worthwhile for you, but maybe it's relevant to others.

I can get it unlocked after contract. I also wouldn't ever waste money trading in, but would sell on eBay (even taking into account their fees).

Either way when selling it after 2 years it will cover the cost of a subsidized phone which I will purchase under contract once again (ie when the iPhone 7 comes out). Been doing this since the iPhone 3G.

to anyone whos preordered with Phones4U
I just called the customer service number, and askes what will happen to my iphone 6+ preorder, he said obviously probably not gonna get the phone so he said when customers ring up they can cancel it, and I will get my £200 back in 7-10 working days....actually they haven't physically taken my money its been ringfenced of my available balance, so hopefully they wont take it now.
SO im advising those who have used p4u to ring them & cancel asap

im gutted as was looking forward to my ip6+, still, what doesn't kill you...lol

I got a dispatch notification for delivery tomorrow. If only that would be true. Especially as I only ordered lunchtime today.

Fair enough, thanks.

I wouldn't mind a SIM Only deal on EE, but I'm not prepared to live with a 4 gig allowance and I hate the thought of going onto a handset contract to get a higher allowance.

In the meantime, I think I'll stick with my 3 SIM that gives me unlimited data and tethering, 2000 minutes, 5000 3 to 3 minutes and too many texts to mention, for £15 per month!
