Really? I'm sure this worked last year for UK
In US, they use the phone number to tracker things early, we can't here for some reason.

Mine still says Preparing for Despatch and a Delivery for 19/09.
In my experience there's always a delay to the status and when things start moving it happens really quickly!
Still looking forward to Friday!

Yeah it was somewhat difficult to set my EE F+F discount up too.
Got there in the end though, now pay less than £15 for 4gb data on sim only, ready for my £700 outlay on the phone.
I'll prob still switch back to 3 when I can.

Hi so how did you go about making them apply the F +f discount as I want my transition from tmobile to ee as hassle free as possible thanks. P.s is it better to do it over the phone or in an ee store?
I think it depends where you are tracking from, from what I remember last year the phones were shipped from China close to the launch date... so they were trackable.
If they have got their act together they usually ship them to the UK and then distribute from there.
I do remember tracking the iPhone from China for the 5s, then other launches it has been like this

I did it over the phone with mine and my wife's accounts, from Orange to EE and the discount came over fine.... but I had the discount applied before I moved.
It is worth double checking as my dad lost his discount ... he did not notice that it had been removed for over a year... and they would not re-aply it
Alright then ! Thanks for the info. Btw, does anyone know if I can go to a Three Store and ask them to cut my microSIM into a nanoSIM? Honestly, I'd much rather do that than buying a new sim...

Has anyone had their Spigen case or screen protector delivered that has ordered from their UK ebay store?
I ordered on the 11th and I have an estimate dispatch date of 24/10 but have seen folks having received theirs already..
I have ordered a glasst.r and a neo hybrid if anyone had received either of those and can confirm, that would be great.
I called Three this morning about a contract alteration, and mentioned SWMBO needed a nano sim as she was upgrading from a 4S. The lady at Three support suggested going into a Three Store and that they would be able to give you a replacement nano-sim with the same number that would activate right away. There's a cost of about £5.70 or something close to that, can't remember the exact figure.
I'm going to wait till our phones arrive, then I'll offer to cut her sim down to a nano and see if that works. If not we're straight off to the Three store for the replacement. I wouldn't bother to try cutting it if I didn't already have a sim cutter.![]()
Could it just be that UPS haven't received ours and started shipping them yet? Tracking with our phone numbers could start in the near future.
Is EE F+F discount 40% across the board?
I have a friend who works for EE and whilst currently I think their prices are uncompetitive, I could be persuaded to a higher one, with 40% bringing it down to a more competitive cost.
Also, in think the max data you can get on a SIM Only deal is 4GB.![]()
Thanks, thinking of going sim only now but unfortunately they only go up to 4gb for sim only.Do you know if anybody in the uk got a 19/9delivery date for iPhone 6 plus from apple as I ordered around 9 ( despite having been up since 6 refreshing every gadget I had)and got October
I went in with my son recently to get a Nano Sim for his 5S (he moved from a 4).
Just so you know, they didn't charge anything, but it also doesn't activate "on the spot".

I don't think so, try your local independent phone shop that does unlocking and repairs, most of them have a sim cutter (or buy one from eBay, they are only a couple of pound).
Just saw a post on another thread with someone's iPhone being shipped from the UK to the US, it looks like they already have stock somewhere in the country. So I guess that means that we will get our tracking numbers later on in the week, if they are being distributed internally.
Ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll try to cut it myself by watching a few tutorials and if it doesn't work I can always buy a new nanoSIM then. Can´t wait for Friday heheh![]()

People tend to forget to also factor in resale value - your phone will probably sell for less in 2 years time if it's locked rather than unlocked - if you use one of the phone trade-in companies the difference can be considerable depending on the network. e.g selling an iPhone 4S 16GB on envirofone today:
Unlocked: £115
EE: £65
You can also expect similar differences on eBay etc.
Of course this might not be your intention, or the reduced up-front cost might make it worthwhile for you, but maybe it's relevant to others.
Yeah F+F is across the board although I doubt you'd be allowed to apply it to a tariff with the iPhone 6 for the first 6 months
