I don't believe there is a way to crack down for our trackers... beside, by tomorrow or Weds the latest we'll all get our our tracker numbers, I can wait. .

Early benchmarking using the Geekbench application suggests that the processor is dual core, and has a frequency of 1.4 GHz. It's paired with 2GB RAM. The iPhone 6 Plus is consummately slick and zippy in use

The fact that they don't really know if it's a dual core would suggest to me they have nothing. Could very well be 2GB but these guys don't know.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing out they they have gone definitive on that point, whereas, as you rightly say, they say things like "Geekbench tests suggest that".

It's the clearest indication we've had yet, but it could also be sloppy journalism.

So I reserved my iPhone 6 for store pickup on launch day but chose the carrier option by mistake. My confirmation email describes it as:

Reserved:
iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey Carrier tariff
Quantity - 1

Does that mean theres no way I can just buy it SIM-free and unlocked? I would reckon all stock is unlocked and will only be locked once setup to a certain carrier in-store?

Apple took money from my account too. Waiting for the dispatch, although I think they will first fly to the UK and then they will dispatch them as local parcels, as usual. Unlike some Americans which get them directly from China.

I phoned up the Apple store where I reserved my iPhone and asked just that in case I changed my mind and just wanted to buy it sim free and they said that it shouldn't be a problem, it's more so they know how much time each customer is likely to take.
