UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

It's entirely possible that because the uk is small reflectively, the units are here in syncreon like past.
But equally likely they will ship directly from Shenzhen. I ordered my 2 within 30s of the site being live last Friday. Confident in apple delivery
 
I took advantage of my offer from EE last night. Called them up and wanted to move from contract (with Ip5) to a Super-Sim Deal. Apparently I was the first one to do so in their whole office to move from a contract to a Sim Only Deal.

Got 6 month for £11.49 and another 6 for £23.99. unlimited text/mins and 9GB of data. This works out to around £17.50 per month.

I have reserved a 64GB iP6 for pick up Friday morning. Phone will cost me £619 but I can sell my iP5 for around £160-180.

Could not be happier!

For people with EE I would recommend to call the customer service and ask them what they can offer. The max data IN STORE is 4GB on Sim Only, but they can offer more when you call them. Technically I got 4GB + 5GB Loyalty.

Its going to take forever until Friday morning... :apple:
 
If some are showing the 13th it seems Apple has forgoed the hold and taken the money straight out. Might not mean they're dispatched after all...
 
For those of you who ordered with CPW just had a text message and email confirming my iPhone 6 64gb has been dispatched to store today and includes a tracking code.

Upgraded my contract with EE over the phone on Friday morning at around 8.10am. Apparently I was one of the first to have been able to get through on the phone.

Went for the Plus / Space Grey / 128GB

Had an email confirming the order around 15 mins later so everything felt good, the email stated delivery for the 18th, although the guy at EE said as I was one of the early ones it would probably be the 19th.

Have had zero contact from EE ever since. Checking Twitter shows a lot of their customers are still waiting for any sort of confirmation. Makes me wonder if it's not just going to be a bit of a lottery as to who gets the first shipments rather than a first come, first served system.

Apparently DPD (their delivery co) will send a notification the day before. So EE customers may not have any contact until Thursday.

Same here, HSBC showed a -£699 since Friday, but only yesterday it been taken out completely from the account, its soon we'll all see our "Dispatch" msg/email and our tracking number's.

I don't think anyone will get it before the 19th.
 
Hi guys long time reader on these forums but only just joined today to get involved in the discussion.

After ordering with phones 4 u and going administration I had to order from Carphone Warehouse yesterday lunch time. At the time of ordering it said the 64gb 6 will be available for the 19th but now the website states they are awaiting info from Apple on stock. I hope I get it just after the 19th if not on the 19th... Got all my emails confirming the order.
 
My Vodafone tracking updated this morning to say it's been picked at the warehouse and is being prepared for shipment.

iPhone 6 64GB Gold.

First, welcome to the thread :).
Second, I don't want to put yours hopes up, but you will definitely not get yours on the 19th if you ordered yesterday, the stocks were gone for the 19th on Saturday, good luck nonetheless.

Thanks its nice to be a part of the forums.

Yeah I am not expecting it on the 19th but that would be nice but I know it would be a miracle if I got it then.. I just hope it isn't delayed till like mid October like I have been hearing. I have a Nexus 5 currently (I live in both ecosystems) so I am in no rush as my iPad will let me experience iOS 8 :)

Cross fingers you'll get yours a bit early, also I live in both Ecosystems, I had a Samsung Note3 (sold it 3days ago) now I am waiting for the Note4 release :), I like to have both flavors I guess :D.

Imagine when Friday comes? we'll be half a sleep, panicking, pissing the delivery guy is late and always checking the window for that delivery truck to arrive... (UPS likely for me), so excited for that day to see people who get theirs earlier than me and vice verse...!

All in all, it'll be a fun day we have been looking forward too for very long time (even those it's only a week, feel very very long week nonetheless!!!)
 
One positive for me is that now I am back in my accommodation block all parcels are managed by reception downstairs. No worrying about being in to sign for the package or curtain twitching!
 
Yep I love watching the pics slowly appear and reading people's opinions.

Sadly I live up a drive off the main road so I don't get the delivery van lottery. But I enjoy reading the "this ups vans gone past 10 times arrrgghhhhh" comments

Money was 'held' earlier (actual balance was higher than available funds)
But now it's been truly debited from my account.

How exciting but also quite shocking to see the massive drop in cash in my account hahaha.

Nothing i can do.... but yeah ... its a strange commaraderie we share having outlaid hundreds, thousand+ in my case, on a silly rectangle of metal and glass :)

About to give EE a call and see if i can get this deal people have been posting about .... really looking forward to getting WiFi Calling though through them ... will to put up with a low home signal for a bit longer for that to arrive and resolve all problems... EE's great everywhere else.

I have the same argument every year with my partner, he always threatens to remove the cellophane, and doesn't seem to understand that's all part of the fun and experience! I will let him take the iPhone box out of the cardboard box, but that is it!

Well, normally in the past i've had the new phone each year and my wife got the hand-me-down .... this year i promised new phones for both ... so she can open and unpack her own .... but yeah ... there will be trouble if mine's opened too :D:D:D
 
Money appeared on statement today, dated 13th.

I ordered a case at the same time though, and they've not taken any money for that yet and I've got syncreon tracking for it.
