9:42. Plus 64Gb Space grey to Essex address. Est delivery 30/9 to 3/10 - preparing for dispatch.

My online banking shows all pages EXCEPT my credit card pages so can't tell if money held/taken. Argh!

For the last week I have become obsessed with international logistics, operational sides of companies I would never want to know, and, oh yeah, a mini-expert on my rights if a phone company goes into administration.

What's wrong with me? I'm a grown man (Honest!)

For anyone who thinks that the earlier it dispatches (or the earlier they ordered) the earlier they get their phone I thought I would share with you how deliveries typically work.

All the parcels in an area are loaded onto the truck and then the truck drives to the furthest destination on its rosta. It then works its way BACK to the depot for finishing time. Where I live this normally means a pre-noon delivery.

So if you have a UPS depot in your town... expect to be last on the list :)

08:28 and still processing

Just called Apple and they said delay was due to the Amex declining the amount, despite speaking to Amex who say they didn't even receive any requests from Apple until yesterday!

Whole order process has been a right cock up if you ask me

They have promised to prioritize my order now, but we shall see!

Unless you live in a big town and the delivery driver has a lot of drops in a small area and won't be covering many miles between drops. :)

Can't see any money taken from mine yet. Although not sure if the Natwest app shows current transactions or just statements only..

Ok just have screen protectors left to buy, any recommendations?

Xtremeguard - I've used these on all my phones and they are great.

Just heard back from Spigen.
They said the majority of their cases are now up as a 'pre-order' instead of being available to ship is because they sold out of their first batch of cases and are getting daily stock of them in again.

I was assured all cases and screen protectors would fit the iPhone 6/6 Plus.

I ordered directly from Spigen UK on Sunday night and got it this morning, despite it saying preorder.

Just been speaking to my local UPS driver and joked that he would be extremely busy on Friday delivering iPhones. His reply was they are bringing in extra drivers to deliver them all on Saturday. This is for the Southampton area. I can't see that Apple would allow them to let so many people down, especially if they are taking time off work to stay in and wait. :(

Being from southampton that doesn't enstill me with confidence.
