Same as above, I think that's the deal breaker for me if it has 2GB RAM.

But we won't find out till next week and I want to order one tomorrow.

Yep 4G is good in my area, and have also tested it with two friends phones and it's fine so that's what swayed me really.

I don't know if this is a general network trend but there often seems to be a big gap in performance in variable areas between 3G & 4G. It was probably one of the main reasons I got the 5S rather than hold onto my 5 & wait for the 6, that's how bad 3G had got.

Unfortunately, the 6 Plus could have a sapphire screen, 4GB RAM and perform modern day miracles but I still wouldn't be able to use it properly so I wouldn't get one.

First time buying my own iPhone properly via contract :D Excited.

I'm getting the bog standard iPhone 6 16GB on a 3 contract.

Hopefully £33 per month with minimal upfront cost.

That is manageable for me.

I don't even know how people can spend £50 p/m with an upfront cost. Thats like at least £1200+ over 2 years which is insane!

I'm looking to spend around £800 over the period of 2 years (total cost at the end)

The only tariff O2 have currently advertised (although you still can't obviously pre-order the iPhone 6 on this tariff yet until tomorrow!) is a £48 a month 2 year contract which give a whopping 20gb of data and a NO upfront cost for the phone:

How does Apple pick up in store work? I buy online, holds the money off my card and when picked up, takes that amount?

I don't think they will. I know Three UK sell all phones unlocked including those on contract so you could try them for a SIM free one if they're nearby.

i'm on Three and don't mind buying a locked phone from them - will Three stores be selling the phones handset only/PAYG on launch? I'm a Three PAYG customer and have been for years...£15 for unlimited data is unbeatable.

That's no upfront cost for the fire though isn't it? Device cash price - £399, upfront cost £0.. So I imagine the 6 will have an upfront cost?

Just left EE today despite being due an upgrade due to their shocking customer service so I have my pick this year.

Should find out tomorrow but they have done before and as per new Three policy it'll be unlocked.

Sorry if this has been asked already, does anyone know what time pre-order opens on the UK online store? I'm hearing both midnight tonight and 8am tomorrow as answers.

Does anyone know if EE will sell it unlocked & without a contract in their stores on the release day? I'd like to go and pick it up directly but the nearest Apple store is a few hours away and the UPS man never delivers to my house until after 6pm...

First World Problems, right? lol

Your chance of that is somewhere between zero and when he'll freezes over.

EE will not sell you an unlocked phone, they also won't sell you a phone without a contract (except PAYG and they don't do new releases on PAYG at launch). Even if you were to buy one on a contract they still wouldn't supply it unlocked or even consider unlocking for at least 6 months after contract signed.

If you want an unlocked phone, avoid EE.

If they have a PAYG price showing you would need to get the store manager to agree to sell one of their limited stock as such. Until Three release their pricing it's uncertain, but people did manage to get the 5s on PAYG shortly after launch.

No 64GB 6P

Always had 16GB on a 4 and 5 but on the 5 was getting close to the limit.
32GB would of been the sweet spot but I am getting a 64GB for the same price even tho storage is over kill for my needs

I always got myself 32gb, but since now they aren't offering the 32gb, I am forced to go with the 64gb, 16gb just never cut it for me, and yes definitely an over kill, only 64gb I have is my iPad which has a lot of the movies I bought off itunes....

64gb 6 Plus Space Gray or Silver white... I can't decide :(

Yes, it's always best to buy direct from Apple outright without a contract. I'm upgrading from the iPhone 5 to the 4.7" 6 64GB Space Grey,

I've always bought direct from Apple and i've had smashed screens, a complete phone meltdown where the screen went multi-coloured and then died (Apple guy said he'd never seen anything like it before) and they've always been really helpful. Apart from having to pay £190 for a refurb after smashing my iPhone 5 screen of course, but that's my own fault.

I started with 16GB on my first iPhone, that ran out quickly then went to 32GB for the following 2 phones but now i'm running low on space for that so i'm sort of glad they've dropped the 32GB and we're getting 64GB instead.

And, space gray all the way baby!

UK Pre-order Time

Sorry if this question has been asked a 1000 times already, when does pre-ordering start for iPhone 6/6+ in the UK?

Thanks..
