I spoke to O2 on live chat last night, and the girl said to me that iPhone 6 will be DISPATCHED on the 19th, and they only deliver on working days - so I'm guessing Monday?

----------

It took them foreveeeer for the 5 too! I think a three have said we'll see theirs tomorrow, but I'm hoping for O2s today!
i'd guess and say they'll dispatch it in early morning to delivery the same day in whatever time of the day, i could wrong too.

Thanks! Well another option is to take a risk and try and get on from a store on the 19th in the morning... But that means I cannot preorder it.

Decided against getting one straight away. There is not a mark on my 5, it does everything I need it to and there is nothing the 6 or 6 plus gives me that I cant do already. So I'll stick with my jailbreak and have dropped my contract from £39 a month to £15 30day rolling :D

I'm hoping so too, they've said to people asking on twitter that they're out 'very soon'...

Yeah, they've been sayng that since yesterday morning. Just wondering if they are waiting for one of the other networks to jump first. I seem to remember 02 getting massivly undercut by Voda whern the 5 launched.

Same every year :D they're always scared to go first!

Can't quite understand why the networks take so long to publish the pricing, it's not like the launch was a huge surprise to anyone working there surely...? Should just need to take the device price into account (as Apple may not have told them beforehand) and there you go. Especially with things like O2 refresh.

I'm looking at the 6 64, 6+ looking too big for me. Hoping O2 manage to put it on refresh for less than the actual asking price again, my total device cost came out at something like £660 last year for the 5s 64. They seem to have wised up for the moment though: the 5s pricing is consistent whichever upfront cost you choose and they've even slapped on a cheeky £20 premium above the Apple price! It was worse last week though: I think the device cost was £770!

Might seem like a weird post but I'm looking for a group of guys to be in contact with over a group message to talk about Apple products etc...

Perhaps not then?

Does anyone remember from last year if we can have the PickUp in store option with o2 refresh - or do they only deliver?

Also, do they deliver the same day with 02?
On Twitter they said you can pick up in store.

Thought it may be helpful to know that vodafone has been tweeting to people that they will announce plans tomorrow. I guess they don't want people to think much. If you think too much, could think of switching?

Just locked down a price of £190 for my current iPhone 5 16GB with Envirofone. Had a look on Ebay and they were going for anywhere between £120 and £200 so the £190 works out quite well. Price is locked in for 2 weeks so hopefully order on launch so I am never phone-less.

Just need to wait for contract prices before deciding if I should go unlocked from apple (as I usually do) or jump on a contract.

I'm going to pop into the Watford Apple Store on my lunch and see if anyone knows if we can pre-order and pick up on the 19th.

Yeah, they would have known about everything before the rest of the world, just stupid making everyone wait so long. I shouldn't imagine the 64GB will be that more expensive considering it is only £10 more than last years 5S.

Is that from Apple?

What does this mean then?

Pre-order iPhone 6 and have it shipped to you for free, or reserve for pickup in store. You can also buy at the Apple Retail Store from 8:00 am on 19 September.

I think apple pre-orders online will only be delivered, unless you want to queue in line on the 19th and buy/pick one up from store.

But I also remember apple did have an option back when i ordered my i5 to pre-order online and reserve it for you in store for pickup.

The wording to means that you can preorder on the 12th for delivery or store pickup on the 19th

Yes, its from Apple Support Chat. The guy basically said that the wording on the website was confusing, but there will be NO order for pickup until release day.

Pre-order on 12th for delivery, or
Queue up on 19th, or
on 19th order online for instore pickup

I suppose we shall find out in a few hours when preorders open up.

I am not sure if i was clear enough... but i'll say this again...

This is just my assumption since there is no confirmation of it.
If you order online, they'll only deliver to your house.
there is also the option of you queuing in line on the launch day on the 19th.

But back when the i5 was released, apple had an option where you can buy/pre-order your phone and choose to either be delivered to you or reserve it for you in their store (which ever one you pick) for you to pick up anytime of the day.

I hope this is clear enough, again this is just an assumption.

The network's social media teams would not know anymore than we do. They're told at the very last minute about plans/prices etc.

As for the chat messages that people are having with Apple and the networks, well they're just as useless. The people that know most at this moment in time are probably the people on this forum.

BTW - I just received an email from Three after registering for iPhone updates. It said nothing more than 'watch this space'.
