Some useful info, I called Ukmail on 03451 554455 to find which depo my 6+ Grey 128GB, they said I could leave it to be delivered or collect it tommorow between 8am and 8pm, I'm taking my car in for service at Vauxhall Star City in the morning so I'm picking my iPhone up at 8am from Ukmail Birmingham!!

You are not the only one. Mine only changed to preparing for shipment yesterday, and is the same this morning. Still says delivery tomorrow though!

Hi guys - quick question. My phone has dispatched as well and due to arrive tomorrow. Normally deliveries are handled well (have had one mac that didn't get delivered but picked it up from the ups delivery that night).
Mine is being delivered by UK Mail. I live in London in zone 2.
I've called them and let them know to leave at reception (signature would be provided) so should be ok. But if not delivered would you know if:
- it would be available for pick up that same evening (tmw evening) at the depot?
- would the depot likely be the uk mail depot?

The only issue I've ever had is with TNT on iPad launch day - I asked them to hold at at their Leeds depot (closest to me despite being 65 miles away). Turned up duly to be told "oh..it's on the way to Hull as you asked"..anyway I met the driver in Hull who was very obliging.

Preparing dispatch means your payment is most likely going through but it should have changed by now, might still do though, you will probably get it tomorrow.
Buy Spigen cases from Amazon and they come next day. Well mine and another I know did.

My dispatch date is still 29-2 so not sure when it will change to dispatched #. But yes maybe on the on the same shipping as you.

What is likely to be quicker - order online (current delivery date showing 2-7 October) or pop along to an Apple store one day next week (I don't intend queueing up tomorrow!)?

Woould they definitely do that? I only live a mile away from the depot so that would be useful for me. Also what depot are you collecting your phone from?

Normally there is either a reservation system or some kind of official available stock list so you can see if there is any point in going to a store. If you are looking for a 6+ the chances are they will be in short supply for a couple of weeks yet.
I'm in the same stage. Preparing for Dispatch for some days already.
Called Apple and they said everything is fine, I should get it tomorrow or Monday (?).
I would contact apple see what they say, and check your bank hasn't held up the payment as it might look unusual.
Most people for the 19/9 delivery here, had 'preparing for dispatch' maybe 1-2 days after ordering and it has changed to 'dispatched' last night for me. Tracking information was given yesterday for UPS for me.
I would ring and see what they say.
Make sure you speak to the depot to arrange this. I have done this successfully with UPS in the past too.
Last time I tried to buy a phone direct shorty after the launch (iPhone 4) there was still no stock you could walk in and buy for a good few weeks... I had to reserve one in the store and they called me when it was in.
I ordered one online too, with the intention of cancelling the other one once I had managed to secure whichever arrived first.... LOL... After weeks I got the call from the local Apple store, I checked just before I drove to them and by the time I had the new phone in my hand and was walking out the door.. 1 hour max... The online order had changed so I could not cancel it!... So sold the unopened one to a work colleague at cost... So all worked outin the end.
So reserving in the store, assuming they will still take in store reservations, was marginally quicker than the online store.
It saves the driver a stop at your house so they should have no problem with it.
BTW: I've collected from UKMail Birmingham before and I waited for nearly an hour - that was the Saturday after the iPad 3 launch.

Just to reiterate this so other people know - I ordered from EE (over phone), Friday at 08:30ish a iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey.
