Not worried so much, just weirded out that Apple site still saying preparing for 30th - 3rd....do they never update properly??

Apple never change the estimated date to the best of my knowledge, just rely on the tracking and know that it will be in transit over the weekend and you will mow likely get your shiny new phone on monday.

Mine has been saying "preparing for shipment" for some time now. I presumed that it would be in a UK warehouse waiting to be picked up by carrier with that status changing earlier this week - perhaps for tomorrow despite the 30th September - 3rd October estimate... but alas no...

Ordered iPhone 6+ 128GB at 08:41 on 12/09/2014

Current Apple status:
Preparing for Shipment Available to ship: 7- 10 business days
Delivers: 30 Sep, 2014 - 03 Oct, 2014 by Standard Shipping

No change for a few days.

However on the off chance, I tracked on the UPS website using my Web Order number beginning with W and to my surprise can see it is actually coming from China. It is still over there now so doubt I will get it tomorrow was wishful thinking, but is looking like it will be Monday 22nd which is not so bad.

Awesome cheers......anyone know UPS rules with missing parcels?? Monday isn't the best day for me as i'm at work and the mrs is out most mornings......are we able to collect from them any time Tuesday if we miss it?

I'm a new customer to them and I'm probably being silly here but I assume they will email me with order update? - unless I provided my existing mobile number when ordering but I can't remember doing that lol!

To be honest, ive no idea, sorry! If you provided an email address, youll maybe email you otherwise you could ring them or ask on twitter/facebook?

Just had an update on DPD tracking - "18 Sep 2014 17:14 Hub 3 - Birmingham We have your parcel, and it's on its way to your nearest depot in Gloucester"

I'm pretty confident it's coming tomorrow, I live about 25 minutes from Gloucester :D

Click the "Change Delivery" button on your UPS tracking, change to something more suitable.

Awesome! Congrats @I Am Designer™

I just received the same 20th text as well, and also have a DPD text that says 19th. I'm happy with either of those though.

My gf got the 20th message, but DPD texted her saying 19th

Oh boy... Just for that last push of confusion and mixed messages!!

I would be happy with either 19th/20th as long as there is some form of confirmation(ish!)

Was thinking about that, but then i thought i'd rather gamble in case she is in at the point they turn up....and if i can collect Tuesday then that'd be fine too :D

Don't suppose UPS give out timed deliveries?

Mine says this on the synview, can't get any info from ukmail

ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE

Can't thank you enough. How fast do they transfer the money and how reliable are they? The code works!

Very reliable. Money transfer the same day they receive your device. They'll send you a 'postage pack' which includes a pre-paid Special Delivery bag and this nifty little cardboard thing which protects your phone in the post. You'll then take the bag down to your local Post Office and Envirofone will get it the next day.

Quick question, I bought a Sim-Free iPhone 5 from Apple direct, and put a Three Sim-Only inside it. This hasn't locked it to Three, has it?

Ee

Still nothing for me. Mine was an instore pre-order.
Bad feeling about this. If they have messed up I will cancel and buy from Apple, SIM free and find a PAYG sim. Any suggestions?:mad::mad:

Thank you. Just placed an order with them - I got more than I would've done selling it to o2 or any other place. Thanks a lot again.

Hi everyone, first post here :)

I've been going through the forum for some time now, it seems that EE are basically the only UK mobile company where pretty much everyone has some confusion, but some people have had texts from DPD and some haven't. It also seems like most of the people who have texts ordered 6's instead of 6 Plus's.

Has anyone who ordered a 6 Plus gotten a text yet? I ordered 128GB Space Grey 6 Plus on Friday morning as an upgrade (spent 2 hours 54 minutes on the phone, and Barclays initially blocked my payment) between 10:30 and 11am. The (really nice) guy said that not many people had ordered that one (ha!) so he reckoned I'd be good for a delivery tomorrow. But I haven't had a text yet, how worried should I be?

Thanks!

(that was a longer post than I thought lol)

DPD have said on Twitter that they'll be collecting from EE tonight for delivery tomorrow, so there's still hope if you haven't received a text yet. :)

No, only Carphone Warehouse "SIM Free" iPhones lock to the 1st SIM you insert (god knows why).

Because most carriers require the phones they sell to lock. And by doing this it means they only need to keep one stock, not separate ones for each carrier.

Three phones btw are sold unlocked.
