UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Cases in stores?

Hey guys,

Got my 6+ about an hour ago, I love it but I think I need a case. I normally don't use any, but it feels a bit slippery when holding it with one hand. (And I'm tall 6'4!)
Do anybody know if they have silicon cases in stock in the Apple Stores (Regent Street or Covent?) I don't want to pay them a visit in such a busy day and return empty handed..

I haven't pre-order online but do you think I will have the chance to pick up IP6+ from next week? Or it will be remain out of stock for weeks?

I've been in Regent Street one about one hour ago to buy the leather case and they had plenty :)
 
Well mine turned up a couple of hours ago, just a 16gb iPhone 6 (I don't tend to use my iPhone's for storage). Have to say it's an absolutely gorgeous device to hold and use.

That extra screen size makes it about the perfect smartphone size for my hand, I always found my 5s a bit too cramped when typing.

I'm not an Apple fanboy by any means, I appreciate all the platforms (currently own an iPad, Surface Pro 3 and Galaxy Note 3) but this iPhone is definitely something special.
 
Well I'm a little concerned, iTunes is trying to add back the apps but seems to be getting stuck, how often does iTunes refresh where it is and what app it's currently transferring?
 
Mine arrived :)

the UKMail driver said the box had been opened as he'd accidentally tried to deliver to a neighbour who realised as he was opening it!

Looking at the box i believe that the tape had been removed but no one had been in further than that.

My cheap eBay case arrived this morning, and it feels like it cost £2.99 :)

what's peoples opinion of the offical apple case? i like how the screen blends into the sides, and so i'm thinking the official apple case won't feel that good when in use. So i'm torn between an official case and a Sena ultraslim.
 
it's taking so long to download all my apps! This is torturous!

Does anyone know how the Apple Stores in central london are looking for supplies of cases?
 
Yawn... another van that doesn't have my phone...
