My friend was given a 10% voucher as an apology for not being delivered on release day (iPhone 5 launch) courier messed up lol

That said, this isn't the first time I've had a UPS status "hang" and then be out for delivery. Just seems like a lot of crazy extra effort to make a bee-line for the UK with these.

Yea last year with my 5s my tracking was a day out or sync, and about luchtime it updated and said that the phone was out for delivery at 7am, but I was also out :eek: luckily I got back in time, but it shows that UPS tracking is good but not infallible!
 
if you reserve do you pay in the store or online? i want to trade my old phone in thats all.
 
Got mine this morning at 11.20am.

I love the 6+, once you see the screen, you can't go back to anything smaller!
 
What was the speaker like in the iPhone 5S? I'm coming from an iPhone 5 and the sound on the iPhone 6 is hifi (well not quite!) in comparison!

Lucky ;) does UPS tracker give you an estimated date?
 
Tale of my woe today lol

Left for work at about 9:30, had a meeting at 10 which finished at about 11:30, got home about 11:45 and hung around for half hour or so, then went back to the office.

Tried to deliver just after 2, and left a calling card (actually wrote on the calling card 'iPhone') I rang the 0845 no and the guy could hardly speak English, anyway, he arranged for me to pick up between 7:00-8:30 (even though website said it closes at 8). Went along at 6:30 gave woman the card, she shouted out, iPhone and some guy came out with it.

He said that they would have re-attempted tomorrow, I said that's not what the website said.

Anyway out the screen protector and case on, and I LOVE it, amazing phone :D
 
In the same boat with the new apple email for delivery tomorrow. Its only 10pm and still plenty of time for a flight to come from Korea or wherever and then get them out. Remember that the tracking can be quite a few hours out. Just a shame the business address I'm using is closed tomorrow and I'm in Portugal so can't go to meet at the gate!
 
For those of us with 7.10 arrival in Korea.......I either think that it's in transit all the way to the UK so they haven't updated it yet........or.......they have cancelled the shipment altogether and we are now actually gonna get stock that's already based in the UK.

Can't for the life of me understand why apple would send this email out to everyone this afternoon if they didn't have some sort of plan for delivery tomorrow.

Guess we'll just have to wait till tomorrow morning to see if the status changes!

Mine also arrived from EE today,

Nothing from EE or DPD via text but perhaps ill get them come through when back in the UK

Luckily messaged DPD on twitter who were on the ball and could provide my slot.
