That's certainly strange :confused: and I totally understand your frustration.

Your best bet is probably to keep an eye on the UPS status - but from what others have posted (in the same batch as us - with status presently stuck at: "Incheon, Korea, Republic of | 19/09/2014 | 19:10 | Arrival Scan), it seems we're all looking at Monday.

Try not to let the hiccup spoil your enjoyment! :cool:
 
My early 9:30am order on a 7-10 day delivery has had the delivery date brought forward to Monday.

That's what I'm thinking if you are ni and have the same status as me. Unless they haven't been scanned before moving on to us. Either way I think it's highly unlikely they have been sitting in Germany since 9 last night.
 
I've just got off the phone to UPS Customer Services.

I asked where my parcel was and she confirmed it was in Shanghai in China waiting to come over to the UK but it would 100% be delivered by the end of the day on Monday 22nd :D

She said the ones stuck in China are waiting for a flight to the UK and so are the ones stuck in Korea. She said they should go today for arrival in the UK tomorrow.

I just hope my iPhone comes on Monday like planned! :)

Managed to reserve a 64Gb grey 6+ last night from the bullring.

Just as i'm about to leave, i get a phone call saying the stock allocated isn't actually available.

I've been given a free £25 voucher and phone case for my trouble!

Not sure if this affects any others reserving one at midnight last night, but i'd ring ahead to check if you're travelling a decent distance.

Just had the same phonecall. Livid isn't the word. Inept and bungled describes this launch from keynote to today. Apple has screwed up at ever opportunity.
 
I managed to reserve a 16gb gold 6 plus at bull ring to pick up at 9am today. No problems. It's beautiful! I love it.

I'd be annoyed if they're randomly choosing people to cancel on as they don't have enough phones to go around.

I can wait if it means i get £60 worth of free stuff

Sorry no Metro Centre near Newcastle. Apparantly none of the stores have had any new deliveries since yesterday.

Ah right... I'm probably going to just check the reservation system at midnight whenever i'm up and hopefully go to a more local store. I would have had to travel from Yorkshire to get the one today.

Do you know how they get the giftcard and phone case to us if they didnt take any details? Obviously they have my AppleID, but nothing else

Yeah it's stored on their system. You're on a priority list so I can't imagine you can get one quicker than they will get one for you???
 
As a few others have said, the ups tracking on my upon is showing it in Korea as of yesterday with no scheduled date. Clicking on the live chat link (which is closed) suggests a delivery date of! Tuesday 23rd.

So Monday/Tuesday is likely and I'm happy with that as I was expecting it in early October

Not quite sure what you mean. I'll just hold out and wait for an email or ask in store when i buy one. Which ever comes first
 
Plenty in stock in my local stores of the 6 but nowhere has the 6+.

Not sure whether to upgrade to this one or not. I love the design of it but I don't want to spend £600 just for a new design.

I might upgrade my iPad this time around as I'll get a lot more for my money in terms of upgrades.
 
About the UPS tracking showing parcels still in another country... I've often found that their tracking breaks down when a parcel hits the UK, especially via the Leeds warehouse. I recall my MacBook and iPad coming from China, and all the scans and tracking details for the UK didn't update until it went out for delivery, at which point the arrival scan etc all finally appeared with correct time stamps.

Hope you're right buddy. Surely it can't still be sitting in Germany since 9 last night...could it?

Some people on here have posted that Apple Pay uses an NFC-enabled SIM card so you might need to swap it at some point, but it doesn't look like Apple Pay is coming here until 2015 anyway.
