A painless reservation pickup at the Leeds store. Had to wait about 10 mins in the Reservations queue outside, but once in, had the phone in a bag within another 5.
If I'd known, I wouldn't have gone through the preorder process and all the trials and tribulations of yesterday. Will be returning that phone once it finally arrives!

My friend lives in Derry & pre-ordered last year and Nightline were delivering on behalf of UK Mail. He received his at around 11am as it's quite a big operation so I'm sure they have vans all over.

I live in the Lisburn area too but am trying to pick up a 64GB 6 Plus in store.

Just a heads up to all UK people looking an iPhone 6/6+... Apple will re-open their reserve & collect facility at 12:01am on 20 September (midnight tonight). The link is here

Thanks for this. Reserved a 64GB iPhone6 while still in bed. Got to store to check it was worth buying & then spoke to reservations team. Was out of door with unlocked sim free phone within 5 minutes of arriving.

Guy who served me told me that it was the busiest launch he'd seen (since ipad 2) and that demand for 6 Plus was very high. By the time I was there Eldon Sq in Newcastle only had 128GB iPhone6 in stock.

Just spoke to UPS, If your delivery status is Destination Scan and it said that before 9 AM, then your iPhone is put for delivery today, and will comes before 1 to 2 o'clock, depending on area. As UPS only work half a day on Saturdays. Hope this helps

I'm with xJulianx on this one. Originally scheduled my 16GB 6 for early October, shipped yesterday for delivery on Monday! But now Apple are telling me that I'll get it only by Wednesday and UPS have changed their mind and can't tell me much at all. No bother, I'll still get it earlier than planned, but weirdly I'm keen to know where in China it is; or if it's in international airspace or enjoying a Korean BBQ ...

Not quite sure what you mean. I'll just hold out and wait for an email or ask in store when i buy one. Which ever comes first

Because they let you reserve and screwed up cos they don't have any they should have told you that you are on their priority list, as soon as a phone comes in you will be contacted and the phone held for you.

I have a spare 16GB iPhone 6 in space grey. Used since yesterday but as new. Decided I need more space so queued and picked up a 64GB from apple this morning.

Not looking to rip anyone off so around retail price is what I'm looking for.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I think I might call it a day and wait for it next week... been trying to read all the posts but can't see if any Korea shipments have arrived. Cheers
