Apple Customer Care are now confirming that those who got an email yesterday should have them by the end of the day today! And as someone else posted that the tracking info from UPS is now behind.

Not convinced, but after 1Hr and 33 minutes on hold they best not be telling porkies!

My UPS guy also mentioned they were working additional hours

Finally my case arrived!! Will upload pics later. Still no movement on my phone for 10 to 17tb delivery dates. Expecting it to change early Tuesday or Wednesday for 29th ish delivery I hope

Hello everyone just spoke with Apple Customer Care, they're aware the tracking system from Korea and North Korea is not working and so the update on the ups website.
The phone will arrive by 6pm today to everyone thay've said

UPS told me it's gonna be Monday for Korea, so I've gone out....they told me phone wasn't in UK so no chance.....I find it hard to believe that at 1.30pm NOBODY has got their phone today from Korea 19:10 status.....it's blatantly not gonna show today!

I decided to use my phone close today and spotted a dead pixel or a tear in the display of my 6 plus ffs

I'm with you.

Quite frankly at this rate I will be over the moon with Monday.....I keep panicking that our shipment has been lost or stolen or something and we may not even get it next week at all, lol.....paranoia much? :D

Quite chuffed with myself. Didn't bother doing the whole pre-odering thing. Instead I reserved a 64 GB iPhone 6 in Space Grey at 12:01am last night, queued at 8:45am this morning at Regent Street and had it at 9:10am :D Even managed to get a better SIM-only tariff for the same price with O2 in the store while I was at it.

Btw. they were out of dark blue leather cases for the iPhone 6 at Regent Street, in case anyone is interested.

How can they talk to you if they're close? Are they exceptionally open ?

The eagle has landed. :p Trekked from central London to my employer out near Twickenham. My phone was sat in the mail room. Now making the journey in reserve. Still boxed as don't really want to be opening it on public transport. Until the next pre-order it's goodbye from me, and I wish you all an efficient shipping process! From the start of activity on my UPS tracking page to delivery was less than 36 hours - a pretty awesome effort. Thanks for your company guys and girls.

Some people on here have posted that Apple Pay uses an NFC-enabled SIM card so you might need to swap it at some point, but it doesn't look like Apple Pay is coming here until 2015 anyway.

No, NFC is built into the phone, not the SIM.

Blackberry has had NFC for years and no special SIM is needed.

Managed to reserve a 64Gb grey 6+ last night from the bullring.

Just as i'm about to leave, i get a phone call saying the stock allocated isn't actually available.

I've been given a free £25 voucher and phone case for my trouble!

Not sure if this affects any others reserving one at midnight last night, but i'd ring ahead to check if you're travelling a decent distance.

I'm glad you got a phone call. I arrived at about 9:30 at Regent Street to pick up my reserved 6+128 and was stood in a queue for 20 minutes, before then standing around for another 20 when an apologetic employee told me they'd over-allocated reservations. By which time my parking cost had jumped significantly and I'd wiped my current phone for the trade-in. I'm beyond angry! (although sympathetic to those that are told to break the news to customers like me).

I'd recommend anyone who has a reservation to phone ahead and check before setting out.

I'm with xJulianx on this one. Originally scheduled my 16GB 6 for early October, shipped yesterday for delivery on Monday! But now Apple are telling me that I'll get it only by Wednesday and UPS have changed their mind and can't tell me much at all. No bother, I'll still get it earlier than planned, but weirdly I'm keen to know where in China it is; or if it's in international airspace or enjoying a Korean BBQ ...

Mine got dispatched yesterday too and is currently in Shanghai where it has been from this time yesterday :( I'm refreshing the tracking every 5 minutes waiting for it to change.

It's supposed to get delivered on Monday by end of the day.

You appear to be correct about the iPhone 6 according to some sites I found on Google. Some phones use an NFC SIM card.

Yes, The NFC enabled SIM card is when the NFC part is linked to your phone service.... So if you bought a can of coke using your phone it would essentially charge to your phone bill.... The carriers never really found a user friendly way of doing it or convincing shops etc to back it. This has been demonstrated at trade shows for years.

Goes to show, again, that the technology is cool and all, but the key is the "end to end service".... This is what Apple is good at.

I agree, just hope it becomes popular! There's still the odd shop that only deals in cash around here so can't see them supporting nfc payments anytime soon.

What time did it get there? Mine is/was:
Your package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
Shenzhen, China 20/09/2014 10:07 Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery.

My Monday 22nd by end of day is now gone and got exception status, what's your status?

I hope so too, if done right it will make life so much easier.... Passbook has made airline ticketing a lot easier.

From what I can gather, if a shop supports "contactless payments" then they have the right technology in the shop, beyond that it is all down to the backend payment systems... Hopefully it is that simple and does not require a roll out of new ePOS's.... Otherwise it would be doomed! But seeing the speed of roll out in the US, it must leverage existing front end technologies.
