UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

What happens if someone returns a iphone 6 back to store? Do they just put it back on sale or is there a procedure , I might just wait until mine is shipped now in case I get a second hand one lol.
 
Getting a lot of stick from some developer and some designer "friends" on FB about my new iPhone 6+.... But all i smell is jealousy AND I LOVE IT!!!:D :D:D

Everything else on the page says 'In transit: on time" etc with a scheduled delivery date of end of day today.

I'm in Brighton, so not at all far from Newhaven but a bit worried that it hasn't changed to 'out for delivery' yet. Anybody in a similar boat?

Yep same boat, I'm at barking depot tho and last year the package was 'lost' had to wait for Apple to send request for lost package and for ups to look for it and then finally for Apple to send a new one out delayed it about 2 weeks!

I phone UPS and they telling me that it is out for delivery... But if the tracking not showing me that will it show that it's been tired/missed? either way I was told I can go to the depot from 6:15 - 7:30 and pick it up :/ don't know what to believe

Eh. There's hours left until the latest they may make a delivery so I'm not too worried. Also the tracking info isn't exactly up to date to the minute.

Unless the info at the top of the page says anything other than in transit: on time, I'd say there's no huge worry just yet.

It gets sent back to Apple if opened. Even the brown box ones, because they are that new, they are brand new off the production line also right now...

Yeah the bloke when I collected mine (having been caught up in the reservations fiasco) said he wished more people would bring back sealed units as he was allowed to re-sell those.
 
Im thinking about cancelling my iphone 6 order and getting a 6+. I just need it to arrive before the 25th October, what you guys think??
 
I got my 64GB Plus Gold... It's so beautiful :)
It's more rose gold lol...when you see it IRL it's the prettiest thing.

Just wanted to thank the group here.

Ordered my 6 Plus 128 on line at 8:30am on launch day, but the time I got to pay it changed from 7 days to 3-4 weeks.

Luckily, you guys showed me how to reserve for pick up (I've done this before with the 5 but couldn't see the link anywhere ), the guy at the Apple store told me it would be back on line midnight Friday / Saturday.

12:01am I confirm my reservation for the phone.

Saturday 9:30am I go and pick up my new shiny Plus.

So I can't really complain and thanks to everyone here for helping everyone else out.

FYI, My online order is still showing 10-17th October! Will cancel it tonight after I'm confident my Plus is all ok.

I couldn't get in to the store so managed to order at 9:01 the 6 for my missus came launch day but I'm waiting for my 64gb plus gold and all i keep seeing is this :(

Processing Items Dispatched: 3 - 4 weeks
Delivery: 10 Oct, 2014 - 17 Oct, 2014 by Standard Shipping

ahhhhh that sucks got all excited got an email from apple only to find it was the invoice for the 6 for my other half :(

and the wait goes on.......:D

I know...I keep refreshing the order status page, I'm gonna go insane if I'm not already there!
 
Quick question, does EE, O2, Carphone Warehouse or anywhere other than an Apple Store stock iPhone 6 cases? My phone has arrived but my cases hasn't.

I know eBay and Amazon do them but I need it today but my Apple ones turns up.
 
(still patiently waiting for mr UPS man)

even though I know i wont see it for 4 hours more, I'm getting more and more anxious as the hours go :eek:
