The cutting you off when you want to cancel technique is becoming more and more common with big call centres now... They hope that you can't be bothered to ring back. But yes you'll save loads of money going with Apple direct.

I know, them disconnecting me really made me angry. The only reason I even ordered through Three is because I wanted it on release day. Otherwise I would have ordered it with Apple originally!

I'll probably save like £400 over 24 months doing it this way anyway.

right I'm gonna have to put the mac down and go and do some work I've done nothing all day oops :D

good luck to those still waiting for delivery hope its not to long a wait ;)

Wow ok so that's still at least 3 weeks away then......so I'll guess you may get a preparing for dispatch message start of next week for delivery for W/C 6th.....that's my guess, I'm gonna go out on a lim and say you'll get it either 3rd or 6th Oct........but could be wrong so don't shoot me if I am.....I can't even get my own order right :D :D

Agree. I remember pre-ordering the iPad Mini back in November 2nd 2012 got a delivery date of 3-4 weeks then it was 22/11/12 (no surprise there) then all of a sudden got an email saying it'll be delivered on 16/11/12.

Luckily i didnt get to see the email until the 17th (must've deleted it by mistake) so i didnt go through tracking shipment torture i just went through these past few days with my iPhone so it was a nice surprise when i got home from work to find my new iPad Mini waiting for me.

Same situation as me but I choose Apple once I saw Three's pricing, and I was foolish enough to think I could wait the extra couple of weeks... But the suspense is killing me haha. I saved just under £20 a month with exactly the same contract sim-only through 3 :D

Same here. Shame 3 were waiting until so late in the day to reveal their prices! Could have saved many a lot of hassle if they would have just gone online first thing in the morning, like all the others!

Just been to the Apple Shop in Glasgow. They do have a limited amount of 6+ 128GB Space Grey available.

128gb 6+, I ordered at around 3pm on the preorder day. I had apple finance though, so took a while to clear... I wasted most of my day waiting for 3 mobile to release their prices, which were terrible. So I saved £20 a month by going with apple haha

Ah ordered on launch also but 09.31am, lets just keep our fingers crossed :)

lol more than welcome hmm might rent a shop next to an apple store so we don't have to wait in the cold could just stick a cardboard cut out in the queue and dish out free drinks and snacks to keep people sweet :D

Yeah I'm in!

Charming! :p

I have heard there will be movement on our phones late tomorrow evening/wed morning but that is not certain, we should i hope receive the phone by next week, fingers crossed

Ive just got off apple chat and was told the delivery dates were what to expect.

He then mentioned about not being able to expedite shipping? Thats a US thing, so I'm assuming that all online chat agents are based in the US.

So hopefully, he would of been wrong regarding UK delivery estimates.

well judging on everyone elses experience they tend to arrive a week earlier, but I'm hoping as ours are later the demand will tail off and delivery estimates will improve even more :)

They are completely clueless on Apple chat.

Last week I saw my 7-10 day dispatch time iPhone 6 (Delivery from 29th September - 2nd October) move to 'Preparing for Dispatch' only few days after Pre-order and its now out for delivery to arrive today! That is at least 7 days ahead of schedule!

Maybe so but so many are arriving early, the first week of october are moving now so ours should be next logically, I'm clinging onto that theory, its getting me through the wait.

mine arrived! 128GB Plus in Silver. was part of the korea crew, but it's still well ahead of the 30/9-2/10 estimate, so i'm very happy.

now, to get used to a massive upgrade in screen real estate!

same here.

excitement is now quite quickly turning into irritation and anger. Why a phone can have such an impact on me is unbelievable!
