Quick question, does EE, O2, Carphone Warehouse or anywhere other than an Apple Store stock iPhone 6 cases? My phone has arrived but my cases hasn't.

I know eBay and Amazon do them but I need it today but my Apple ones turns up.

what case did you go for? my 6+ leather turned up the day after ordering!

I did change the delivery option to courier (same price) and it came by UPS rather then royal mail.

You might be better off ordering again with that option and then returning the other when it arrives.
 
me too :mad: all the hype everyone has and we have to wait another 3 weeks (worst case) :(

I have heard there will be movement on our phones late tomorrow evening/wed morning but that is not certain, we should i hope receive the phone by next week, fingers crossed

FWIW, that stock has gone already by the looks of it.

Check hourly, if not more. It regularly says that the checker is unavailable, which I think means it's being updated - whenever that message goes, I've been able to find 6s in a bunch of stores, and 6+ in usually just one. I've just seen some in a London store for the first time today (6s in all sizes, at Stratford City).

I'm holding out for a 6+. I've got one on order online, but if they're stocking up stores rather than completing online orders then I'm going to basically camp out infront of the stock checker all day from Friday til Sunday until I get a Plus, and I'm willing to travel to get it! haha.

Apple Store at lakeside had loads of cases yesterday! I bought one from Amazon.. its pants!

Went for a red leather one :) it hasn't turn up yet but I did only order it on Friday?

I think I may pop into town and see if any of them repairs phone shops have a cheap one just until my Apple one turns up.
 
I couldn't get in to the store so managed to order at 9:01 the 6 for my missus came launch day but I'm waiting for my 64gb plus gold and all i keep seeing is this :(

ahhhhh that sucks got all excited got an email from apple only to find it was the invoice for the 6 for my other half :(

and the wait goes on.......:D

Wow ok so that's still at least 3 weeks away then......so I'll guess you may get a preparing for dispatch message start of next week for delivery for W/C 6th.....that's my guess, I'm gonna go out on a lim and say you'll get it either 3rd or 6th Oct........but could be wrong so don't shoot me if I am.....I can't even get my own order right :D :D
 
Guys, Three are terrible.

You may remember I posted earlier in the thread that my iPhone 6 Plus did not arrive on the 19th and I was unable to get through to them on the phone lines, I guess they were swamped.

Well I got a call from them today and they explained that my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB which I ordered literally within 120 seconds of the pre-orders opening on their website will not arrive until October 4th.

So I said to them, fine cancel it. I'll just order it direct from Apple and save a bundle of money.

Well the person went to transfer me to the relevant department called the "concern team" but instead he cut me off and the line went dead :mad:

So I call back and go straight to the cancellation division myself. I said to this guy what occurred and he tells me actually my iPhone would arrive between the 4th of october and the 10th of october.

Absolutely crazy. I tell him I want to cancel and he explains to me I will not get an iPhone anywhere else faster than their date (which may be true but I don't care). And he then explains to me that the reason my iPhone is delayed isn't due to them, it's due to Apple!

He actually blamed Apple claiming Apples system on the day the pre-orders went live was "messed up" and caused the problem with regards to when customers would receive their phones.

This to me just seems like complete ******** cause I ordered my iPhone really late in the day it was about 5:30pm when Threes website began accepting pre orders and by then the bum rush on pre orders to Apple was already over and their website and services were working perfectly fine at this time.

It is my opinion Three simply got their pre-order pages open too late and Apple had no more stock allotted for carriers.

Anyway I'm really angry with Three, I've cancelled the phone and my contract. I'm just going to buy the phone direct from Apple and eat the 3-4 week wait as a learning experience. Three can kiss my ass.

lol I'm prepared for the worst case I've locked myself in a room with padded walls and my macbook and a spare keyboard incase i wear this one out i will be fine honest :confused:
 
I have to disagree. They chose the carrier as well as the shipping method. I didn't get any choice in that and for a device that expensive, I would have forked out the difference to have a guaranteed delivery date. In addition, they should have ensured that the third party company they use for delivery could properly handle the load.
There is a reason why Apple did not give you a choice to have a guaranteed delivery date. It is probably because so many people would have wanted last Friday to be that day and, in turn, carriers probably could not guarantee so many deliveries all at once (let's not forget their normal daily load). As such, it became a "best endeavours" situation. Had Apple guaranteed a delivery date and failed to adhere to it, there is no doubt that you would have wanted your money back for the delivery charges. In turn, Apple would have asked for fees paid to delivery company back so, all in all, it was delivery companies protecting themselves. Potentially, as long as they (delivery folks) agreed to an SLA of a certain % of phones delivered, Apple agreed to live with it. Not ideal (especially if your phone slipped through the cracks), but not the end of the world either.

The cutting you off when you want to cancel technique is becoming more and more common with big call centres now... They hope that you can't be bothered to ring back. But yes you'll save loads of money going with Apple direct.
 
It would be nice to at least be able to track it, but at the moment we don't have a clue where our phones are :(

128gb 6+, I ordered at around 3pm on the preorder day. I had apple finance though, so took a while to clear... I wasted most of my day waiting for 3 mobile to release their prices, which were terrible. So I saved £20 a month by going with apple haha

lol more than welcome hmm might rent a shop next to an apple store so we don't have to wait in the cold could just stick a cardboard cut out in the queue and dish out free drinks and snacks to keep people sweet :D
