I'm hoping they don't open early lol. I can't possibly get there till 9:30 at the very earliest. Being 30 mins late wouldn't be too bad, 90 mins I'm not so sure...
Someone earlier in the thread mentioned they were told 12pm earliest. Hopefully you are right and 8am preorder before bed would be amaze
Cheers for the info. I'm on a one month contract at the moment, any idea if I'll be able to upgrade online with the preorder? Three on Twitter told me two different things this morning. I'd really really like to not have to deal with them on the phone if at all possible!!
I would presume you can, IIRC the upgrades were available before it went live for new customers when I got the 5.

I've been so amped deciding on things like colours and cases that I didn't realise it to be 4am. Part of me wants to make it to 8am and part of me wants to sleep. But I'm kinda scared I sleep and don't wake up til mid-day

This is why I'm still up, I'm the only one in the house and alarm clocks rarely wake me so I'm not sure I want to risk catching some zeds until the order is in the bag.
I personally would not risk it, I have my Coffee pot ready for 6am and having some snacks and energy drinks (no more beer) to keep me a wake right now.

yeah, honestly no point trying to nap/sleep now, its only 3hrs 30 minutes to the actual opening and I'd imagine you want about 25 minutes before it to get yourself ready to double check credit cards etc and then refreshing to see if they open one or two minutes early.
I've tried in the past telling myself at this stage that 'I'll just sleep 3 hours' and set an alarm(s) and wake up for uni. It hasn't worked and I've slept all the way through them to about 3pm!
If what I've read that (from the ip5 preorders) that they don't sell out until about 30-35 minutes, it doesn't sound too hard!? I'm well prepared for the site to go down, but surely it can't have a 30 minute downtime.
