Leaning toward a 64GB 6 myself. I'm tempted to go silver again. Had that for my iP5 then went back to black when I got my 5S. I really do like the idea of the 6 Plus but I just think it's too big.

Personally I loved the size of my 5S and will welcome something a little bigger but I just think it's going to be too big my hands. Going to look at some similar sized phones in the O2 store tomorrow before pulling the trigger.

Made some mockups of both sizes and the 4.7" feels really nice IMO. Just big enough without being a little too cumbersome to handle with one hand.

I did a mock up for both sizes before I finally made my decision, and I saw the 5.5" is the right choice to go with, also I do not want to end up regretting at a later stage for buying the smaller screen to be honest, I can always sell the 5.5" and get the 4.7" if I didn't like it, or return it... there is a 90day return policy if you buy directly from Apple.

Good choice. :)

Thanks man, what are you getting?

Ahh, fair enough. Each to their own :)

Good luck with your pre-order.

Why are people going on contract rather than purchasing outright?

Not currently financially viable in my case. I would buy outright if I could.

The same. 6 Plus 64Gb space grey.

Yeah true, I guess in a perfect world everyone would but outright given the opportunity.

Right, right now I have a Sim Only plan and paying £26 1 month contract with unlimited everything... and it has been this way for 4yrs almost.

I am never going back to 12 or whatever months it is now the offer...

Will be buying out right the white silver 64gb 6.

Only a few more hours left at work then got to stay awake till 8am

This will probably be the last 24 month contract for me I think. I'll be buying outright next time. If I can resist the 6S that is...

Two words, pro plus.

Just wanted to check with myself that it was the cheaper option!

You could always take out a 0% credit card and essentially pay it off each month whilst also building your credit rating! Win, win!

Personally because I'm skint :D

Plus back in the days before iphone I used to put at least £10 credit on my PAYG dumbfone each week, I'm actually saving money and I get a nicer phone...

£10 a week on a dumb phone is crazy! I'm on £12 a month for an iPhone user!

Do you not worry about it being too big? I don't have trouser pockets that big and I do a lot of one-handing!

Damn, I can't handle that, although I usually only upgrade my iPhone every 2yrs, but I definitely do not want to be tight to a Contract more than 1 month! also Three has great deal, and reception... at least in London I never notice a drop, and 4G is almost always available anywhere I go.

P.S. 4 Hours left! :D

Yup, what can I say, I used to use a lot of minutes/texts...when I take away the cost of the phone I'm paying £10 a month now for totally unlimited everything...Like I said the contract is a bargain compared to what my phone bills were 6 years ago, plus I get a nice £200 or so bonus every two years when I sell my old phone....

TBF I think O2 refresh is a 0% interest loan IIRC. You pay back the cost of the phone monthly with the airtime which is roughly £20 a month. I don't think it's a bad deal IMO.

I don't think an unemployed student like myself would get accepted for a credit card. I have a CC with my bank and thats maxed out as it is lol.

I'll be getting home at 6.30, tempted to stay up until 8ish to see what happens with Three. Though I may be best getting some Z's and then getting up at 12?

Anyone remember how much the 32gb 5S upfront cost was? Does it go on your first bill?(upgrade).

I kind of think it might be too big but then from what I remember of the Samsung phone of similar size I saw a few weeks ago the bigger screen size should be beneficial.
I might live to regret my decision. Who knows.

Do a mock up size comparison like I have done for both sizes.

My mate has a note3 and the size is some what the same... and it looked good in my pocket.

I'm not sure where the idea that three were going to go live at 12 has come from, I'm pretty sure they'll be live at 8am like everyone else...their stores are certainly opening at 8am and I really can't imagine they won't go live online at that time.

Been looking at their website and I don't think they've updated their 5s prices yet to reflect the price drop, I would imagine we'll be looking at similar prices this time round...They also usually have tariffs with an up front cost and tariffs without, or at least they did when I upgraded to the 5 two years ago...you usually end up saving about £10 if you pay up front rather than not paying

Does anyone know if network stores will be opening early?

IIRC my local O2 normally opens at 9:00AM.

I'll have to do it when I get home. I'm working at the moment.

I hope three go live at 8am with everyone else.
Think they'll miss out on a lot of customers if they waited until midday.

When I got my 5 I paid £49 up front then £39/month over 24 months. Just coming to the end of that now.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned they were told 12pm earliest. Hopefully you are right and 8am preorder before bed would be amaze :)

Cheers for the info. I'm on a one month contract at the moment, any idea if I'll be able to upgrade online with the preorder? Three on Twitter told me two different things this morning. I'd really really like to not have to deal with them on the phone if at all possible!!

Think I paid nothing up front and then 43/month on the 5...I just remember there being several options and not much between them once you added it all up

Well that's work done just the long drive home.

I looked at the 6 plus but it just isn't practical with my job. The 6 will be spot on for me.
