UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

I'm waiting on TNT as well... Same thing my tracking just updated and snuck in an extra delay excuse that wasn't there before ...

However it is now at KG4 which I believe (from other forums) is Kingston upon Hull... That implies it has been shipped hook of Holland to Hull? And delivery changed to tomorrow...
 
KG4 is actually TNT's central road hub at Kingsbury in Staffordshire.

I've just had this reply vis their customer services team on Twitter:

"Hi Neil, sorry for the delay in your delivery. It will now take place tomorrow. We will escalate this to our support team to monitor...
.. and contact you with an update. Can you please confirm your contact tel number. Thank you."

I will see what they say...
 
Mine is still saying it's in Arnhem so I am now thinking that it's been left behind :eek: :( Knowing my luck, it probably won't arrive to me until sometime next week!

I was looking at other forums and found a Kingston upon Hull reference - odd that my tracking map says Germany as that is further away than Arnhem. My Apple tracking page has changed back to 2nd October now. So all i know for definite is I don't have my new phone but fingers crossed will have tomorrow
 
Anyone on Three network and had your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus delayed? Anyone know the reason behind it? It was due to be delivered tomorrow!

Just held my first iPhone 6 plus, my colleague at work has one, they paid £550 for a 64gb they got a bargain. Its beautiful. Its also nowhere near as big as I thought it would be. I could easily type one handed.

Its annoyed me now though! wheres mine :mad:

Did you contact Apple regarding your order.
 
Signed up to say I'm in the same boat! Meant to be delivered today but got held up in the Netherlands I think. TNT say it was because it got held up in China by an hour but I doubt it. Now in KG4 which is Kingsbury I think she said. Should be delivered tomorrow, fingers crossed! Gave Apple a bell to, completely uninstered, very apologetic but blamed TNT saying they were overloaded. Use more couriers then!

Might be worth a phone call guys, I rang up and the guy said its actually showing as preparing for shipment... I refreshed my browser and it went from Processing to dispatched...

Funny thing is when I was processing my Barclays finance it stayed on awaiting payment for ages, so I rang a few days after ordering and they said its actually showing as processing and then I refreshed the page and it was processing.

So both times I rang it was like I prompted them and they changed the status for me. So worth a call guys!

I'm so pleased for you, now hopefully it won't be long before you say that it's been delivered!!! :)



The tracking finally changed for me and it is now saying that my phone is at KG4. The arrival time stamp was for 13:11 today and yet it took a further four hours before it showed up as that :rolleyes: TNT really know how to torment customers!!
 
After two weeks of checking almost everyday, only to see the same 'Processing items' status, I checked a moment ago, and saw a magical Preparing for dispatch status!:eek:
I know I'm behind a lot of others here, but I can't tell you how good it is, just to see some progress with my order!:D

That is very good news, now it will only be a few more days until the delivery van pulls up at your door :)
 
Mine will be here today :) I went to the Apple store today to physically hold the iPhone 6 Plus. When people said it's much bigger than the 5S, too big, etc. I thought they were exaggerating. Nope, it really is a LOT bigger. Bear in mind I've never held a big Android phone before, so it's quite the shock. After using it for awhile, I found I really like the 5.5" size :) But yeah, it really is a lot bigger than a 5S, more so than you may expect.

Totally agree!! I too preordered on the 12th, and have got really annoyed with the fact that people can reserve and collect in a matter of hours, and yet those who preordered a week before sales went live, are still waiting!!! What's the point of the preorder?!?! I would be thought we'd have some kind of priority! I'm not gonna preorder again - I will go the reserve and collect route next time :-(

I feel for you. I originally had a 10th-17th delivery too (even though I preordered at about 8:40am on the 12th). I got lucky though and managed to reserve my 6 plus in store for pickup on the 20th before most people had twigged to the midnight rush to reserve. Had the phone for almost 2 weeks now and it just seems normal now, (whilst still having that, "wow! this a great phone" feeling). I can't imaging what it would have been like to have been on here for the last two weeks watching others shipments and refreshing mine.

Looks like it will be with you soon though :D
