I guess the only good thing about waiting so long, is that most of the major apps will have been updated for iOS 8 and the newer iPhones, by the time I get mine.

It's incredible, I had hand cramp the first night I had it haha! But used to it now! It's amazing to have such a nice screen. Hope you get yours asap

Glad you love yours! The bigger screen sure looks beautiful when I saw it in store. ive been trying to source a nice case for it, but unfortunately all the stores have iphone 6 cases and none/very little iphone 6 plus cases :-(

Yeh I'm going to try using mine without a case, it's too beautiful to put a case on... And you're right about the apps, there are a couple which are obviously scaled, it's not like the switch to retina, they're not blury, but everything on an unoptimised app is huge haha

What does 'preparing to hand over to final carrier' mean time wise? I could do with a Friday or Saturday morning delivery.

Me and my gf just reserved two at the apple store in covent garden in London.
Myself 64gb iPhone 6 plus grey
Gf. 64gb iPhone 6 silver

We are picking it up tomorrow. My gf is Canadian and is going back to Canada for holidays so I will be actually using it properly in 3 weeks. VAT 20% refund ftw!!

My space grey plus is coming tomorrow, can't wait.

If it's any use to anyone I have a iPhone 6 plus 64gb in silver locked to 02 which I'm selling as I prefer the black front of the space grey

I went into a local vodafone shop and had a look at the 6 and 6plus in person. I am absolutely no further at deciding what to do. I think the 6plus is just too big, especially with having a 3G iPad mini. But the better battery life and camera are still pulling me in that direction slightly. The 6 looks absolutely perfect, a nice size, a beautiful screen but those two factors it is lacking.

On top of that I'd want to stay with Three and for my current contract it would be £50 a month and either £29 up front for the 64gb 6 or £99 for the 64gb 6plus. Which is an unbelievable amount of money.

The price between buying outright and that contract for the 6 is £130 cheaper to buy outright and £120 cheaper for the 6plus.

This is weird...

I just had a "Today's the day" notification from the Apple Store app that my phones will be delivered today (9th)!

I have a delivery window of 8th - 13th, but I have absolutely no tracking information available online, or otherwise.

I have no idea what the Apple Store app is using to determine that I'm going to get a delivery today, as there is no tracking information contained within that either.

Anyone have any ideas?

My i6 finally arrived from EE, right on the scheduled delivery time too, order details: Space Grey i6 16GB ordered 24th September over the phone, delivered this morning.

Adam.

Anyone know how accurate Apple are with their shipping estimates? I ordered on 22nd Sep and have an estimate of Oct 20-27th, and still in Processing Items at the moment. I'm going away on the 29th so really hoping they are accurate with their 20-27th estimate!

My 6 Plus has just left Zhengzhou(due on the 15th). :/
I'm guessing carriers had first dibs on the stocks, wether pre-ordered or not, then those buying direct and unlocked from Apple had to get what was left, or wait for new batches.

Vodafone are awful , just terrible ; incompetent would be a compliment !

Gave up and demanded a refund , I will just buy direct from Apple in future...:apple:

I just wish :apple: did their own mobile phone network.

I don't think so. Plenty of people, myself included, have been waiting a long time for carrier orders too.

I think it just depends on what model you want. There seems to be good availability of Silver & Gold models, but very few Space Grey around - especially in 16GB and 64GB.

Finally my SG 6 plus has shipped, TNT status is showing exception which can't be good

It shows 'Exception' in the status tab before it's first scan. As soon as it gets its first scan it will show 'In Transit'.
Mine was the same this morning, just checked now and it's gone to 'In Transit'.

Yay apparently my iphone 6+ 64gb gold has been delivered. Gonna collect it later on, can't wait!! Hope all those who are still waiting get theirs ASAP, and their worth the wait :)
