Good evening all.
Well after 2 & bit days in Arnheim , I've just checked the TNT tracker & we have landed in Northampton !!
Now I know a TNT delivery van goes all over during the course of a day , however Northampton is only about an hour from me !
Now the site still says est delivery for Tuesday 21st , but surely they won't keep me waiting & let it sit in a store room for 4 days !!
Anyone had this & then found that it's been out for delivery the following morning after landing in the UK.
If not , could I go & pick it up ?

That's an option I think, or you could possibly arange a delivery day to suit you - I remember seeing that option on their tracking page. "MyTNT" or something.

Well as per my previous post , I went to bed with my 64GB SG 6 Plus at the Northampton depot.
I awake , check the site & it now appears to be at Thetford. Now this is only a 45 minute drive for me. I'm currently trying to contact them to see if out for delivery today , if not I'll go & pick the bugger up myself. The tracking doesn't say out for delivery , but it may not of been updated yet. I just don't see the point of my shiny new 6 Plus sat in a depot in Thetford until the est delivery date of Tuesday 21st.
I'm off work today , so could easily collect.
My daughter thinks I'm totally mad for wanting to collect ! which ironically is what I'd be saying to her !
if ever the old saying ....." Do as I say & not as I do " !!!

In purely spec terms the plus is better. Better battery life + better camera.
However, there is no 'better' device - its whatever you want it for - you make that decision.
I had a 6plus, took it back because it was too big, and although the 6 is gorgeous, its just another Iphone. I really missed the glorious screen of the plus, so I'm now back with a 6 plus.
And although sometimes it's a bit big, bit unweily etc. It's still chuffing brilliant. I can't believe I took the first one back really. Use it for a week and you fall in love. It's exceptional.

Dunno if TNT are the same, but although Citilink get a bad name, if you find the local depot number and talk to people in the depot, they're really good and will go look for it.
Obviously doesn't help if it's out for delivery, but maybe worth a go with TNT.

I have posted on another forum about the long drawn out process of returning my iPhone 6. After 2.5 weeks and two no-shows, TNT finally turned up today with no warning at all. I would like to formally complain to Apple in writing as I am now faced with interest charges on my Credit Card as well as wasting 2 half days holiday and hours of my time on the phone to both Apple and TNT. My problem is that I cannot find an email address to send my complaint to. I do not wish to complain (yet again) to someone on the end of the phone who is unhelpful and doesn't care.
Can anybody help me out here?

Well ladies & gentlemen , I am now the owner of a beautiful 64GB SG 6 Plus.
As per my previous post , it was sitting at the Thetford TNT Depot from this morning , 50 minutes away from me.
I phoned at 07:30 & after giving them the consignment number , they confirmed that it was sat there , however would not be out for delivery today , & wouldn't be delivered until the original date of Tuesday 21st.
Oh I don't think so !!
Took proof of address & passport & wham bam , it now sits in my car !!!
Won't have time to set up until I get home etc , but from first handling & inspection , it looks & feels like a masterful piece of workmanship !!

I gave in and opened the iphone 6 normal they sent me in error , tbh the screen is actually more than big enough ., maybe i didn't need the plus after all ??

After a lengthy wait for my 64 GB SG 6 plus (online order, played the midnight reservation game and won at my local store, cancelled online order), I went and returned it after just one week and am now waiting for a 128 GB SG 6.
It currently says 'schezuan China', any idea how long this may take to reach London?

The 6 plus is exceptional isn't it?,just a remarkable product with although i'm not sure if its worth going for any storage less than 64gb
Very jealous to read this! My 64GB SG 6+ arrived at Northampton last night but is still showing as:
16 Oct 2014 20:18:00 Northampton Hub Shipment Received At Transit Point.
The TNT delivery date is being shown as Tuesday 21st, despite Apple originally promising to deliver 13-20th October. Hopefully it gets moved to a depot nearby soon..
As much as I love Apple products I feel it's pretty poor of them to fail to deliver by their promised dates.

Has this happened to many people with the iPhone 6?
It's never happened to me in 7 years of buying many of their products. My personal experience has always been that Apple delivers on or before the promised date.
To be fair it has never happened to me before either. But it has happened this time which is partly why I'm so disappointed. I rang up Apple today and the guy was pretty hopeless, he basically just gave me the tracking number and said it was up to TNT when it would be delivered.
