Mmmmm, has anyone else who ordered in the past week had their credit card debited before the goods have been dispatched?

Unfortunately I can not check my credit card as the bank appears down and not allowing any signing in.

When I placed my order over the phone Sales were explicit in that the only monies debited immediately was a single £1 just to link my card with my Apple account. I didn't check to see if this happened and again I can't check whilst the bank is down for signing in.

The mind boggles...#

Rant time.

Getting very frustrated with the reserve and pick up reservation system. London doesn't seem to get ANY 6 stock (only plus). I've been on it daily and hitting refresh from midnight and when it finally appears its only places outside of London.

It's been a month now Apple! Terrible supply and demand strategy.

Is there ANY way to get a new sim free Space Grey 16GB 6 from an Apple store in London?

Do Apple have separate "walk in" stock at London stores that isn't allocated to reserve and collect? If so, I'm tempted to go to the Stratford store for opening time if there was a realistic chance.

Ditto, just had a look and the stock situation recently has been pathetic. It seems to have gotten worse after Apple launched in other territories.

FWIW, there isn't "walk-in" stock in London stores. Aside from reservation stock, there is probably some availability for those who are buying on contract or want to "reuse and recycle", but it will vary on the day.

100% agree.

This is what I said on another forum but got told that I shouldn't be shocked as its a popular phone....

I appreciate its a popular phone but stores should have daily stock of all devices for people to either walk in to buy or reserve and collect.

It's a bit bizarre it's that way round when you consider every carrier store round south London I've been in has no 6+ for love nor money in SG in but plenty of 6, especially the 16GB.

giffgaff have iPhone 6 16GB SG (sold unlocked) in stock if that helps anyone? Free next day delivery and the finance is cheaper than Apple's if you choose that route

I was in the Buchanan Street store in Glasgow today and they said they hadn't received any new stock in the last few days, while the new Edinburgh store which opened at the weekend had plentiful stock. It's possible that stocks from across the UK are being redirected to newly opened stores for their big launch events.

Apple Pay, here In the UK? I can't see that happening any time soon.
Heck, I'm still waiting for iTunes Radio!

My guess is we'll get Apple Pay before iTunes Radio..

The NFC infrastructure is already in place in quite a lot of retailers.
And banks are easier to work with than music companies..!

Maybe it works in any shop with NFC contactless payment. I'll see if I can test it out.

Ok so my new iPhone 6+ is currently in "Incheon, Korea, Republic of" does anyone know how long it will be until it will be here in the UK and possibly out for delivery?

Wow, they really go round the houses don't they.

Still no space grey stock in my local store since last week. Starting to wonder if it might be easier to just order online.

Well, I've got mine. Have been trying to reserve and collect from Apple a Space Grey 16GB 6 for weeks in London but stock is so short. I gave up and saw that Carphone Warehouse are now selling sim free GOLD iPhone 6's (16/64/128h for same day reserve and collection like Apple.

Lots of people saying that iPhone 6's from CPW no longer lock to the first sim and are truly sim free but we will see.

Mine originally said 23rd, which is this Thursday but the delivery I information on UPS website now says
"Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later" so now I'm
not sure if it will make it for Thursday.

Why not, you don't have anything to lose as nothing is taken from your payment account and if you do find one later in a store just cancel the online order.
I've done it this way as like the rest trying to obtain a Space Grey 128GB in a store is like dangling meat in a river full of piranha.

Until ApplePay is live in the UK how do you expect your phone to even know where to take the money from to make the payment?

Until Apple roll it out there is no ApplePay in the UK (or anywhere in the world except the USA).

Had exactly the same thing with the two iPhones I ordered. No tracking details at all on the website. Even though the email had a blue link button.

Rung them up on the 0800 number and they gave me the UPS details over the phone. Turned out it was out for delivery that day and turned up ten minutes later!

Well I've decided that I'm not going to get a 6 Plus for the time being.

I'm going to get a MacBook Air instead. :)

My 5S is only a couple of months old so is running smooth as and in terms of want/need, getting an Air to replace my Vista laptop which is seven years old is more of a necessity than getting a new phone!

Might get one when I pass my three month probation at my new job though.

If you've already got a 5s then you're pretty set for now anyways.

That being said, I can't speak for comparisons as its my first iPhone but the iPhone 6 absolutely screams. It's smooth as butter with power to burn so it definitely comes with my recommendation.

Can't afford a new Mac atm with the chaotic state my life's in but boy do I wish I could. I hate not having access to the Handoff feature on my iMac even though I may not have been using it too often right now.
