Do you know how long it normally takes for Lloyds to hold the money? Won't be able to settle until it shows £699 less on my 'funds available' bit lol

Afraid not pal, probably by the end of the day? But I wouldn't worry too much as they tend to release the funds part way through the week anyway and then actually charge you on dispatch

Big thank you to whoever was first to say to try web version of the store on Safari one the phone! It worked! A touch awkward doing it while standing on public transport but I got space grey, 128gb 4.7 and an email confirming expected on the 19th (ish). So excited (this was about 9:40 UK time)

Ok another Barclays person to confirm.

Apple haven't held the money with Barclays accounts as of yet. Just called Barclays and they said they can't see any pending or held transactions at all.

Looks like I'll have to contact Apple themselves.

Just had a verification txt from Barclays about activity on my debit card. I expect that was why. Fraud prevention is good. I've just confirmed the transaction now.

I could have ungraded through Carphone Warehouse but I would have to pay £33 p/m instead of £27 for the 64gb and £229.99 for the handset. My existing O2 tariff doesn't seem to be offered any more because it is quite cheap.

I don't think there is a set time. Sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes its instantaneous once the order is placed.

The model I ordered (4.7/Space Grey/128GB) has now slipped.

Only models left for 19/9 delivery are Space Grey and Silver 16GB 4.7 models.

Had a bizarre experience. Had been trying for about half an hour on my MacBook and on the Apple Store iPad all, to no avail. Then tried with Safari on my iPad and got through first time. Oh well. 64GB Space Grey 6 for me

The iPhone 6 dates are changing to 7-10 days now on ALL colours for the 64GB and 128GB.

Still launch date available for the iPhone 6 in 16GB in silver and space grey ONLY.

Just to make you guys aware...

I thought everything was paid fine but i logged into my order page on Apple.com and saw that the payment hadn't been processed. I tried again but was declined, tried again and it was approved the 3rd time.

I then phoned my bank, HSBC, who by the way are useless... They declined the first 2 but said the 3rd was ok. So make sure you check your payment has gone through ok. Was fraud prevention apparently (Not that they queried the sum of money i paid to a letting agent earlier in the week which was 3 times this amount...!)

Order now moved on to 'Processing'.
