Just to make you guys aware...

I thought everything was paid fine but i logged into my order page on Apple.com and saw that the payment hadn't been processed. I tried again but was declined, tried again and it was approved the 3rd time.

I then phoned my bank, HSBC, who by the way are useless... They declined the first 2 but said the 3rd was ok. So make sure you check your payment has gone through ok.

This is good advice, some banks do decline large amounts they might deem unusual.
 
My order is on 'processing items', I got one email off apple saying the order is processing and they will notify me on dispatch.

For clarification does this mean my order has been accepted? I don't see any money taken out but Santander's website is notoriously slow at updating funds.

Does it say that on the page where it says 'We've received your order'?
 
Question : I have both preordered 2 iPhones but also reserved 2 for pickup. Is there any danger that my orders will get cancelled ?

Was fraud prevention apparently (Not that they queried the sum of money i paid to a letting agent earlier in the week which was 3 times this amount...!)

How do you check this?
 
Order still not held funds and still on "We've received your order"

I used a different delivery address to my billing if anyone is interested. Seems to have worked fine!
 
How do you check this?

Go into the order section on the apple website. If there's a problem there will be a red message above the order notifying you of a problem. Click there to update payment details where it offers you the chance to re-authorise or use a new card.

I would call your bank just to make sure its all gone through ok.
 
Anyone know if the iPhone 6+ cases are available to buy in store already? They're saying despatch in 1-3 business days on the site.

Really want to size up the Silicon case vs the Leather. They look practically identical online.
 
I could have ungraded through Carphone Warehouse but I would have to pay £33 p/m instead of £27 for the 64gb and £229.99 for the handset. My existing O2 tariff doesn't seem to be offered any more because it is quite cheap.
I started a new contract, and it's the first time I've tried to get an iPhone on the pre-orders date so I was just kind of in a rush to make sure I got one lol!
