Processing means you are in the safe. All payment WILL go through correctly. You are not being prevented from purchase by fraud detection at all

Just sit back and relax until next Friday.

Thanks for the reassurance!

Quite an interesting morning to say the least... Not been very smooth and Apple-like has it!?

Ordered at 08.52, and now it is processing! :) They are making their way through now :)

Anyone able to go into a store and take a pic of the O2 tariffs? The fact they can't even get those out due to dead website is pretty poor!

I got off the phone to O2 about 30 minutes ago. White/Silver 128GB Plus ordered. Just clicking frantically on the email they send through so I can confirm it... keeps crashing, grrrrrrr!!

Even though my order is 'Processing' I'm still a little worried about the whole payment thing and fraud detection stoppages... If its processing i assume that means payment has been sorted etc?

I am with you. I have ordered at 08:36 using a credit card (estimated delivery date is 19th September), and later I got a phone call from my bank saying they stopped payment as their system detected a potential fraud/unusual usage. They advised me to cancel the order and re-order it, but I could not. Now, I have found my order status has been changed to 'Processing'.

I tried four times to call Apple, but I had to hang up after 60 minutes... Don't know whether my order is progressing or not... Have to wait and see.

I hope you are right...

Which bank?

Finally managed to get my way into the pre-order pages at 8.48am, placed my 64GB Space Grey order and it's in the last hours it's moved to "Processing Items".

Unlike the 5S it's nice to know that this time around my order is going to be fulfilled on launch day, rather than me spend two weeks queuing up at stores with scalpers trying to get my hands on one!

:)

I don't really know how their fraud systems work and if you have to re-make the payment. Its all a bit strange really. I mean i tried to pay again on Apple's site after it was declined and it was decline again but on the third try they said 'Thank you payment received' or something. Then it moved to processing.

Not very effective fraud prevention if you can just click 'Try again' and it eventually goes through. Thats why i rang my bank. They said i had tried to make 3 payments but they were all declined and the 4th was accepted. Which again is strange because i only made 3.

If they said the final one was accepted and my order has moved to processing i assume all is ok.

Knowing how zealous my bank is, not that is a bad thing here, I am almost dead certain to get checked but that usually doesn't affect the payment going through by past experiences.

Hi Guys, I've just had confirmation from Carphone warehouse that my order has been accepted. It went so smoothly at 7.55am that I was worried and reserved an iPhone 6 plus at the Trafford Centre. I feel guilty and would like to cancel the reservation so that someone else can get the phone, but I can't see anywhere to do it? I'm a good girl, see? :p

Confirmed how? I ordered from CPW about 10 minutes before you! Got the initial email but nothing since.

To be honest after thinking about it and reading Apple's website a little i think basically when you click the order button it just checks your card details to ensure they are valid. Then, in order for it to move onto processing they need to check the account to ensure there are available funds and therefore place a hold on the money before they can move the order forward. Thats the point where you will get the fraud people sticking their noses in. (In a nice way of course...!)

Which is why after my payment was finally accepted it went straight to 'Processing', they wouldn't be processing it further unless they were sure you were 'good for the money'. So to be honest I'm sure if its in Processing stage its all fine.

Umm... makes sense. Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know if you still have to queue for the store pick up? Will there be a separate line? Mine to collect is 10-11AM at the Bath SouthGate store.

Vodafone offered me a cheap deal I laughed.

There is a plan at £35.50 which would offer 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb data. The upfront charge is £229

So in effect I will be paying £21 a month for that allowance only (minus the phone cost).

I'll be leaving that's for sure.
