Just got a new 24 months contract on O2 from Carphonewarehouse over the phone. I didn't get any email confirming this though. The guy said 19/09 delivery date. I wish that's true! Anyone else pre-ordered from Carphonewarehouse?

I ordered my 16gb iPhone 6 by calling 202 from my mobile to O2. Had to wait for ages though, before I got through.

The annoying thing now is that although O2 have sent me a confirmation email, there is a link within the email that i need to follow to complete my order however, as the link redirects to O2's website - all I get is the 'We are extremely busy and will be back soon' message!!!

ANNOYING....!!!!!! I JUST WANT TO CONFIRM MY ORDER!!!!

:mad::mad:

Mine was acknowledged at 0804, haven't heard anything more from them, but I don't think it's anything to worry about. I guess it takes a while to do credit checks and process the large number of orders they would have received.

Wouldn't be 100% sure of that tbh...but I'll be phoning later today and will let you know how i get on :)

This.

That's why I went to Carphonewarehouse. But then again, they don't offer O2 Refresh!!!

Yes. Finally got an email acknowledgement of order and later an acceptance email, but they are taking a few hours.

Just received my Spigen Airskin for iPhone 6. It does feel much bigger than the iPhone 5s, there's no way you can comfortably use an iPhone 6 Plus one handed IMO. So glad I went for the 6.

From what I've seen O2 is the cheapest? I wanted to swap to EE but at the same monthly cost and data/mins O2 has a £50 cheaper upfront cost.

Which plan are you looking at...? It might be because I'm comparing the EE 10GB £33 to my current deal which gives 8GB for £22 and just buying outright because that's not one of their standard tariffs...

EDIT: Or I've done my maths wrong, always possible!

I bought SIM free and want to stay on O2, does anyone have a link to O2 non-phone contracts?

Thanks.

Ordered myself a spigien last night. How long from ordering to getting it did it take?

...and of course I can't see the EE plans anymore as the site is borked so difficult to check. I'm looking at the 64GB, btw.

I ordered from Apple as soon as it went live, my email they sent me says your order is being processed but has delivery date and all the other details... I presume that's all you get from Apple until they start sending them out? Thanks.

Pretty much all the O2 plans are at least £50 cheaper or the ones I've checked at least.
The one I'm interested in is the iPhone 6 64GB on O2 £43 a month, 5GB data unlimited everything else £149.99 upfront, EE is £43.99 a month, 4GB data unlimited everything else and £199.99 upfront.

I really wanted to go EE but no way I can justify that difference.

I've decided to stay with my 5 for now, wait until any bugs are sorted out and I can decide what to do. When I do buy I'm getting sim free from Apple.

I'm with O2 so as my contract finishes next week so I switched to a 12 month sim only deal for £20 a month (with my loyalty discount it's £17) unlimited texts, calls and 3GB data. I plan to tether to my iPad mini.

I got talked into a £53 a month deal with unlimited mins/texts and 20GB data lol. Was only £50 upfront though!

What a rip off.....i bought it outright and paying £12.90 a month sim only....which over 24 months is £1008....where as you are paying £1322....over £300 more.....which is over £12.50 a month more.....yikes!

Suppose i only get 200 mins....but still get unlimited texts and truly unlimited data!
