What a rip off.....i bought it outright and paying £12.90 a month sim only....which over 24 months is £1008....where as you are paying £1322....over £300 more.....which is over £12.50 a month more.....yikes!

Suppose i only get 200 mins....but still get unlimited texts and truly unlimited data!

It's £300 difference. I did the math when paying. Didn't really bother me that much with it being over 24 months.

I couldn't afford to pay the £600 upfront as I had £400 to pay off from my 5S.

Just thought there must have been a better monthly contract deal.....i knew buying upfront is always slightly better but not that much......would have thought there would have been £40 a month contracts out there for example, maybe having to pay £100 up front or something?

Does anyone know if Apple or anyone else are doing bumpers?

My last two iPhones have been naked but I want to protect it from any drops but don't really want a case, I figured a bumper is a good compromise.

Wouldn't be 100% sure of that tbh...but I'll be phoning later today and will let you know how i get on :)

What is it you're not sure about? There will be a lot of orders to get through + CPW do credit checks on everyone don't they? Or at least they did with me. I'm upgrading btw, so it's not a new contract, not sure if that makes a difference.

EE not doing the swap deal anymore, which is annoying. I still have 16 months on my contract which means my only option is to buy a handset outright. Unfortunately I am not willing to part with that much money so looks like I'm waiting for the 6S. :(

Apple are offering Silicon and Leather cases, they cover the back and sides of the phone. So, it isn't really a bumper.

You may find other case manufacturers offering bumper-like designs though. :)

Yea same here...upgrading. From what the woman said on the phone she can't promise it'll be yours on release no matter how early you preordered. She may have just been saying that but I know come 5pm I'll be ringing back to see what the craic is.

Thanks, I saw them but I don't see the point of it when it will cover most of my phone up. I guess I'll just have to wait until the phone accessory stores get them in.

Maybe there was a better deal, who cares haha. I'm satisfied with the deal so thats all that matters really I guess.

I can pay the phone off whenever I want then I would be left with just the tariff which I can also end and go on a sim only deal.

My last contract for my 5S was £42 a month for unlimited texts/mins + 1GB data. Compared to the new deal the old one was the ripoff.

Out of interest what is the sim only deal you have?

Am really glad I didn't go with a contract this year, think I would have had to pay at least £50 a month to get what I want which I really don't want to be doing. £620 up front isn't so bad as I'm sure you save money anyway (haven't done the exact calculations) and especially if you have a 5s to sell where you can get back £200-300 or so.

Envirophone offer £255 for a 16GB 5s so £365 for a 64GB iPhone 6 whilst paying £15 a month is pretty damn good!

Hmm you'd expect it to be first come first serve with regards to it being delivered on release day, she might have been just covering herself. I remember two years when I upgraded to the iPhone 5 through O2, and they didn't have enough stock so CPW took the orders instead and I got my 5 on release day then.

I feel pretty good right now knowing that I don't have to worry about getting it delivered on the release day.

In store reservation/pre-order is the way forward guys!

Pretty much all the O2 plans are at least £50 cheaper or the ones I've checked at least.
The one I'm interested in is the iPhone 6 64GB on O2 £43 a month, 5GB data unlimited everything else £149.99 upfront, EE is £43.99 a month, 4GB data unlimited everything else and £199.99 upfront.

I really wanted to go EE but no way I can justify that difference.

Fair enough, You're right on the 4/5GB plans. I've got 8GB now though and I'm reluctant to go down so comparing with the 10GB EE are only slightly more for which I get 4G now (rather than "soon") and access to Orange Wednesdays so I've got the opportunity to threaten tham a bit...

Just received my Spigen Airskin for iPhone 6. It does feel much bigger than the iPhone 5s, there's no way you can comfortably use an iPhone 6 Plus one handed IMO. So glad I went for the 6.

Good call on the Air Skin, that's *exactly* the type of case I was after in preparation for receiving the 6. Want a bit of protection, but still keep the phone as slim as possible.

Oh but it's so much fun waiting for the delivery van to arrive!

Nothing beats getting the knock on the door and receiving that package. I remember when it was my PS4 coming on release day, I was all serious when signing for the package but inside I was smiling so much!

Nope, they'd have announced them otherwise. Just Silicon and Leather cases.

Also I don't think the iP6 is the right shape for a bumper style case.

That's if it does indeed come on release day. It will be painful if not.

Hopefully all you guys get yours delivered on release though...

Yeah, all of the 02 orders made online and over the phone are handset from CPW. 02 won't touch anything to do with the handset if you have one of these, only account stuff they will sort out, CPW have to sort out any hardware issues, unless you take it to Apple (or at least thats what they told me when I got my 5 two years ago).

All stock from 02 stores though is 02's handsets.

02 and CPW have done this to allow 02 to have more handsets available than any other network.
