really worried, no money taken.

paid on lloyds debit card.

still preparing for dispatch all day then now its the same sorry message.

why do i have a horrible feeling they will cancel my order :(

When i spoke to apple this morning, they said they only take the money on the day it dispatched, although I checked my account and money was already taken... so not sure what to believe.

They never take the money, they just put a hold on it meaning you still have the money in the account, you can can't spend it. You could say they are taken the money when you think about it but its not classed as they have.

Wow Three. You really... do.... <sigh>

Waited all day, playing in the park near my local Three store with my 2 year old. Finally get the nod, go in and... £50 plus £99 up front if you want all you can eat data. What, no lower minutes tariffs!

On top of that, go through the process and their credit check system is down until 8pm tonight. Shop closes in 30 mins so I leave empty handed.

The final decision. You can still order a phone for pickup on the 19th from Apple so bought sim free and will stick with my £12.90 SIM from Three and save myself a total of £400 over 2 years.

They were about to lock me into a 2 year contract but not with those shenanigans.

I see, well in my account, I see -£699 lol... so that's reserved/on hold for them until the dispatch day?

right, just spoken to Lloyds and apple have made a pre authorisation for 0.01p not £699 which seems a bit weird. they've done it twice apparently so think I should call them to confirm its not going to get charged twice

Anyone had an email confirmation from EE after pre ordering over the phone? I got through at about 10:25

Plus?

Was the Plus ever actually available in the UK for delivery on launch day?? As far as I could see, orders went to straight to delivery in 3-4 weeks as soon as the store came on line this morning and it was actually possible to log on. By contrast supplies in the US seem to have held out for several hours.....can't help but wonder if we limeys were allocated any Plus models at all...

Wow, that's some back payment you're owed though! :D

I'm on the legacy £15 Unlimited data & tethering One Plan and I don't see me moving off of that, but I agree that 3's practices appear to have been a little... sharp.

Sadly it was only a fiver a month that they've been taking (hence why I didn't notice it for four years!)

Had I realised they were doing away with unlimited tethering earlier this year I would have got myself on that deal while it still existed...that's another thing that's annoyed me, I can't even get a tariff from them that is comparable to what I've had for the past four years however much I pay them!

I'm with you.....i cannot believe the increase in monthly costs through carriers.......the iPhone 6 plus 64 gig is the same price as the iPhone 5 64 gig from 2 years ago......yet my wife was paying £37 a month then, and now they wanted £57 a month!! £20 jump with the same price phone, what a rip off......so glad i buy outright and sticking with my £12.90 tariff until they decide to cancel it....which i hope will be never!

Just spoken to apple chat and got this response, I'm in the same boat so I hope this clears things up.

I managed to nab one for launch.

Not impressed

Not a happy bunny tried to cancel my order all day but site not working get in tonight and now I cant cancel. Anyone know if online returns can be taken to the store?

Did ANYONE actually get a 6 PLUS - 128GB for delivery on the 19th from Apple??

I experienced the same godawful shenanigans with the App and website this morning - so it was about 8.40 before the order eventually worked....initially said delivery on 19th on the screen - but that changed to 7-10 days by order confirmation stage....Argh.....

I just wish someone had posted that "reserve a phone for store collection" link last night or earlier this morning!

I just wonder if there were actually many PLUS units available for delivery on 19th...and indeed whether the stores get many and therefore if its even worth going early to Eldon Sq. Newcastle early next Friday to try and get a couple?
