I had a 64GB Grey 6 preordered but I then managed to get one reserved for pick up at my apple store next Friday so I cancelled my online order.
I would prefer to open and inspect it in the store so if find any issues I can get it swapped on the spot.

Only swapped if there is any spare though.

Gutted had my 128gb 6 plus ordered from 3 and they have phoned me to tell me that apple have told them that they won't be available til the 3rd October.

A long day of calling CPW customer service, my order has now been confirmed & is due to be delivered September 19th. Gold 64gb iPhone 6 here I come!

My iPhone 6 64gb Space Grey is bein prepared for dispatch so very happy here.

Was very undecided about which size to get but decided to get the 4.7 and if I like the 5.5 when I see one I will get the iPhone 6s + next year.

But once you leave the shop that's it, no option to return unless its faulty.

Whereas if you buy online you can obtain several replacements. Back in the day when blacklight bleeding was a big problem in the early MacBook Pro's I had 3 replacements before the bleeding was acceptable. Apple customer service were fantastic over the phone, even agreeing with me that it wasn't acceptable.

I managed to get a 64GB Silver Non-Plus for delivery on 19th. Tracking page is also down for me too.

So in the end I went for space grey 64GB with Vodafone @ 53.50 per month. A lot more than I was hoping to pay but I figured that you get Spotify with that so there's a £10 saving per month meaning its only a few quid more than I am paying now and I go from 16 to 64.

My only concern now is that whether 7GB will be enough though having gone back through my recent three bills (where it was unltd) I only used around 2/3 GB a month so I guess it's just not having the 'security' of unlimited but it's pointless paying extra for something I wouldn't use... In addition, with all that extra space on the device, I can save stuff offline for listening.

TELL ME I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE.:)

So I got up extra early for the Three preorder at 8am, turns out its later "sometime in the afternoon", been left out of the know all day, come home to only 16gb available. Pathetic :(

Do unlocked phones bought from the Apple store remain unlocked even when you put a SIM card in?

Cause I heard ones bought from the Carphone Warehouse lock to the first SIM card you put in.

EDIT: Yay my order is now Preparing for dispatch too!

Correct. Apple have always done it this way, not sure how it benefits them cause you can still cancel, not like they gain anything from it.

The authorisation lasts roughly a week so it saves them doing it at the point of dispatch and it being declined. The auth essentially says that your bank will pay the sum on request, which is all they want really.

All transactions work like this, it's just usually the charge is made within a day of the authorisation so you don't notice that the funds are being held.

The bonus I thought was good. If you get the Netflix offer and already have Netflix you get a credit of £41 on your Netflix account.

I was on hold with EE from 8am this morning, got through cpw payment screen, confirmed order at 08:50 then EE picked up.

I upgraded my existing contract with EE

iPhone 6 plus 64gb - £99 upfront £48.99/24 month for unlimited minutes and txts with 20gb data.

Cancelled my cpw order.

Yes, it is Factory unlocked to any network. CWH just talking rubbish.

Yes you can - did this with the 4S when I accidentally ordered 2 in the panic of preordering!! lol

Are you absolutely sure?

I did similar previously, and I'm sure I asked and was told I couldn't return an online order to a store.

I've got the same issue this year, after ordering both a 6 and 6+ as I couldn't make up my mind at 8am this morning! :p

really worried, no money taken.

paid on lloyds debit card.

still preparing for dispatch all day then now its the same sorry message.

why do i have a horrible feeling they will cancel my order :(

If there are any problems with your card Apple will contact you before cancelling anything.

I honestly think anyone who went with the purchase through carrier option this year has been mugged off......pricing is ridiculously high......iPhone 5 64 gig cost me £699 and 2 years later iphone 6 + 64 gig cost me £699.....so how come my wife was told she would have to pay up to £20 more a month for the new phone?? Absolutely ridiculous......you could save over £400 over the 2 years by buying the phone outright!!!

Yeah, At least I feel like I'm getting a bit more value for the money. It looks like most plans are 45/50+ regardless!! I was also looking at O2s deal at the same price but for 20GB data allowance. That's what got me looking at my historical data and realising that it might be wasted expense. What's also good about vodafone is the 3 month test drive so I can make sure for sure that the data is enough.

I share my Netflix sub with the parentals (who pay the bill :p) so I'll stick with Spotify haha.

Guys help which is the best option to do? Cancel my online order and use my reserve to collect in store or leave everything and let Apple deliver the phone on the 19th?
