Okay fair enough but I don't see how it's relevant considering I was only talking about the 6S not the plus in the first place

iPhone 6s Plus SG 64GB is still 3-4 weeks.

Yep read about the display issues somewhere by top analyst ming kuo saying that 6+ had display issues so its limited stock. But gpt mine reserved!

I reckon once stock starts flowing those with 2-3 and 3-4 will get pushed forward a week or two!!

My watch said delivers June and then all of sudden said 1-3 days and it came!!

Yeah deffo the screens and I hope so for you!

Got lost at the bottom of last page, apologies for repeating myself, but...

Have a carrier free iPhone reserved at the Manc Apple store for 0900 or thereabouts. Possibly stupid question, but what time should I get there? How organised are they and can I expect to be out the door, iPhone in hand, within 30 minutes of my reservation time? I'm merely curious, not preemptively moaning about waiting around. That said, I will need to leave for work by about 11am, so hopefully I'm long gone by then.

Historically, I've typically arranged for home delivery, ordering within minutes of the store going online, but for various reasons I've gone the reservation route this time.

I have a reservation at the Trafford Centre and I did last year too. It's best to go about 15-30 mins before your reservation and speak to a member of staff. They might let you join the short queue then or ask you to come back. If it's sim only and no carrier upgrade required, then you should be in and out pretty quick. They take you in the store and ask you if sim only, then you wait a few mins for them to get your phone. You should be out within 30 mins of your timeslot at the latest. Good system. Don't forget ID, and your email. Good luck ☺️

Thanks. Yeah it's unlocked and sim free, so hopefully be fairly painless.

Only bummer is that I go straight to work and won't be home till about 2300, so it'll just be a rather attractive brick for 12 hours. I know I can do an iCloud restore or something, but I'll be away from mains and a bulletproof wifi connection for that period and I don't particularly want to blow a few gb of my EE data just because I'm impatient :). Plus, I'm old fashioned, I've always restored from a local backup.

I think had I lived in a city with an apple store I think I would of gone down the reservation route myself, Nearest apple store to me is probably Eldon Square.

I always do that, and have never had any issues down the years.

I've always set up my iPhone's from iCloud backup. Anyone set up as new? Any reason to do this?

So it looks as though the 6S+ also has a smaller battery going from 2915mAh to 2750mAh. Rather disappointed with this. I understand something had to get smaller as the taptic engine needed to go somewhere. The 6+ battery is amazing.

I know somebody will say well they have got a more efficient and less energy hungry processor but the battery also has to power 3D touch and 2gb of RAM. Apple says the battery will last as long as the 6+ but i'll believe that when I see it. The 5 was supposed to last 7 or 8 hours wasn't it? Only lasted 4 for me. sometimes less.

Slightly confused, had both my iPhone 6S's in MySupportProfile, now one has vanished and only left wit the other.

So is there anything that I lose if I do a Icloud backup instead of a Itunes backup, like will I lose my apple watch data or something?

Gonna get a cheap £2 case from eBay. Refuse to cough up £35 for an Apple one. Had a transparent plastic on my 5S for a year, worked great.
