UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

You will not get your phone early.

They will be held until Friday. Sure there is a small possibility that a few may slip through BUT all the networks know the 25th is the release so they will tell the couriers to hold the phones.

As far as Apple orders direct go; they will be shipped Thursday night. They are already in the UK and it is a simple overnight delivery for Friday and the same for network phones.

I asked why some o2 customers that ordered in the first hour or so have tracking codes etc and updated order status where as others (i.e. me) don't. It was very generic, wouldn't say if there was a possible slip or not depending on when you got your order in.

She then said the phones will go out to people who ordered first (obviously) but the suggestion means there's an order of first come first served. Chat earlier said more or less the same but it did sound non-committal. Plenty of 'we are aiming to get them all out for the 25th'.

I guess I should forget about it and pencil in a meltdown if there's nothing on my order status this time tomorrow.

I think you're worrying yourself way too much. Deliveries that are despatched on Thursday can still make it to your door by Friday. The reason tracking information is going out to some must be because they're trying to sort out each county out and they haven't gotten to yours yet.

UPS can deliver from China in 2 days, so even if they're coming direct from there it might not be until tomorrow morning that we get shipment emails.

Most likely they'll be shipped from UK and we'll get our emails tomorrow night. :)

Is anyone else with 3? I upgraded and preordered on the Saturday afternoon and was told there is a delivery window of Sept 25th to Oct 23rd though they hope to deliver on the 25th. I ordered a gold 6S 64gb which googling seems to show is in plentiful supply, but apart from a brief "Thank you for upgrading" text I've heard nothing since and reading here it seems those on Vode or O2 have tracking numbers and everything. I've looked in My3 and can't see anything. Is this just a case of 3 being a bit crap or a, I missing where info like that is held with My3?
I don't want to set myself up for disappointment come Friday.

anyone ordered any decent screen protector yet? I'm upgrading from an iPhone 4s, cant wait!!
 
Had a reassuring chat with o2 CS. He said I will get my phone on Friday!! So happy!

No, really? I'm pretty well aware that it is Tuesday but thanks for letting me know. I don't see however, how your comment answered my question regarding how 3 network are managing their 6S launch and upgrade tracking? If you are saying it's too early to be given tracking details then why have O2 and Vode customers had theirs for a day or two?

I was told they only get stock for 9th Oct :/ mine was also an upgrade... they said all model were the same date. Three are crap for tracking been on phone for an hour!
 
Just spent an unproductive 15 minutes on Live Chat with Vodafone rep who, in the space of one conversation, told me that I would get an email on the 25th telling me about my order, that I would get my phone on the 25th and that I may or may not get it. Waste of time.

I was going to order that but I wanted one with 0.20mm thickness. That will work phil said screen protectors will work as long as they are 0.3mm and less in thickness
 
On a cool clear night and if you the eyes and ears you will notice something in the sky above your back garden. It's a drone, an iDrone if you will. It's hovering there with your iPhone inside. It will make a drop at 0800 hrs on 25 September.

the apple screen protectors are 0.2mm as well, I know cinder are releasing one today, made from gorilla glass and is just 0.2mm
