I was told they only get stock for 9th Oct :/ mine was also an upgrade... they said all model were the same date. Three are crap for tracking been on phone for an hour!
Really? Oh no. Their website is still inviting people to buy online and saying it will be delivered on Friday. I guess I'm going to have to phone them. I can't believe there's no live chat. I emailed but it says a reply will take up to 5 days.

I don't see however, how your comment answered my question regarding how 3 network are managing their 6S launch and upgrade tracking? If you are saying it's too early to be given tracking details then why have O2 and Vode customers had theirs for a day or two?

Well what a rude reply. I know you're frustrated with your order but there's no need to take it out on me. There's still time left in the day for your order to update and there are three more days after this one for your phone to ship. NOT every carrier works the same, it's not as if they're handled all by some master corporation that deals with all our orders at the same time.

Stop being a massive baby and go by what they have told you in the first place.
 
Daily check-in. No change. Wasn't expecting there to be. Waiting for tracking code Thursday afternoon/evening. Spigen cases and tempered glass at the ready.

Your reply was incredibly rude so I gave it the respect it deserved. I asked a straight forward question about how 3 handled upgrades. The fact that you say 'There is plenty of time for your order to update' shows tha you didn't read my OP. There is nothing in My3 to update, that was why I was asking what 3's procedure was or if there was some page in My3 where I could find this information. You decided I was impatient and demanding my phone early and responded with a needless, sarcastic statement of obvious fact.

Thankfully Polaroid read my post and responded politely and helpfully!

If I worked in customer services I'd be sooooo fed up with us lot ringing them checking all the time when there's still masses of time for orders to be out for Friday!!
Although, anyone not ordering direct from Apple I suspect there'll be much disappointment (as usual). Every single year the carriers sell more than they get and then try to cover their rear ends with 'oh, we thought we'd have more available, sorry you'll have to wait the extra 10 days now. No, sorry, we can't be more specific, it depends when Apple release more phones to us'. So, you get your phone later than launch day AND are stuck into a grotty contract with 1GB a month data ... If you need less than that I'd really wonder if there's any point in getting a smart phone!! These things cost enough, we should use them heaps!!
 
Well my new Vaja Flip case arrived Monday morning, pretty impressive as I only ordered on Thursday evening. Now just waiting for my 6S Plus.

This. I work in IT and sometimes have to cover the helpdesk. I couldn't even begin to imagine how fed up the people on the phone must be!

Ive waiting since June. Even if its a week late I aint bothered.

Yeahhh I'm just worried cause if they attempt to deliver and no one is in and stuff and they wont deliver to a neighbour.....

If it's Apple direct they have a neat little comment by my 'preparing for dispatch' statement. 'Delivery 25/9 in most areas'. If it was later than Monday I suspect Apple would compensate if you took it up with them.

The phone people? Not sure, they will back pedal like crazy to try and avoid making it sound like 'their fault' so unless it categorically says delivery ON 25/9 I suspect there's no comeback

Because Vodafone & O2 are not Three and run their business in a completely different way.

You surely can't be expecting all the networks to run their (completely independent and separate) businesses in exactly the same way.

I hope that this year, taking the money up front as 3 did that they will fulfil the orders. Last few years they've only taken expressions of interest.

My case arrived last Thursday. I'll be happy if Apple meet their estimate of 9 October for the device to go inside it.

To those stressing about this Friday. Chill, my friends, you will get your new toy soon enough.

Nice idea, but I couldn't possible get up early enough for that. I'll just wait it out. October 9 ish isn't that far away.

What a kind thought. Once you get married, though, I can assure you that you'll be keeping hold of your kidneys and any thoughts of donating them to your other half in a time of need will be right at the bottom of your list after a new iPhone, new car, holiday and anything else you can think of. ;-)

On a cool clear night and if you the eyes and ears you will notice something in the sky above your back garden. It's a drone, an iDrone if you will. It's hovering there with your iPhone inside. It will make a drop at 0800 hrs on 25 September.

The iDrone should definitely play Muse on arrival.

I also kinda like the idea of the drone hovering all day for some folks but not dropping the phones until 5.45pm. This thread would go into utter meltdown.
