My case was meant to arrive today from Apple, but when UK mail say "delivered" they mean it's been passed over to Royal Mail... Infuriating.

I've stupidly ordered a 16GB 6s but really regretting this and want a 64GB. What are the rules on return (bought from apple.com)

I'm not sure how I will resist opening on release day but seems like a silly thing to do...

Finally caught up on the last 70 pages of this thread!

If I'm honest my excitement for this update hasn't been quite as much as it was when I went from 4 to 5s (well, that was a big change) or 5s to 6.

However, reading the reviews yesterday I decided I have made the right decision in upgrading. Really looking forward to 3D touch, faster Touch ID, camera improvements and speed improvements.

I'm going plus this time. Bit concerned about losing one handed operation but trying the 6 plus in store now after a year with the 6 it doesn't feel nearly as big as it did at this time last year. Extra screen size and improved battery will be welcome. I've had a bag of sugar taped to the back of a spare 6 case so I can get used to the weight difference when using it at home!

I'm selling my 6 to my dad as an upgrade from his 4s. He didn't seem fussed at first but think he's come round to the idea of the bigger screen, better camera, increased capacity, touch id, Apple Pay, speed etc. And from a cost view point it works out well because realistically he will want to upgrade from the 4s at some point soon but doesn't need latest and greatest.

Not long to go now!

Aw new iPhone and fingers crossed for a good scan. What a day for you. Hope it all goes to plan.

I was going to say the same thing!

That's nice besides having a decent camera phone will be great for capturing spontaneous baby pics! I told a colleague just before she was due to go on mat leave that she needed to upgrade from her ancient iPhone - she came in the following day with a new iPhone! Apparently the impending baby excuse was just the justification she needed!

Anything will be better than the Experia L I've been using for over a week now. Am excited about the scan but also can't wait for the phone. Going to give her her 1 when we get to the hospital, should distract her from any worries she might have.

That's disappointing, they have told me that they're delivering mine tomorrow. May just mean that they're giving it to the Royal Mail. Grrrr.

I hope that's not Demerara sugar ...it's too soft and will portray the wrong feel. This 7000 series alloy is at least as hard as Tate & Lyle.

Paranoia strikes at times like this. Vodafone have told me that if I've pre-ordered, I should get mine on Friday, but no promises.

Just called them, again. I was originally told my new price plan and data allowance would take over a few days prior to my new phone... on the 1st call this was revised to 48 hours before the day. Called again now and suddenly its become 24 hours before now...

What a suprise, just keep waiting. They give large delivery time frames so that they ensure they don't under promise so that you're not upset. Stop bugging them on chat because I'm sure they're sick to death of these phone calls.
I'm still not sure what your problem is with me, but as you can see, I am replying to Polaroid to update him that what he was told may not be correct and maybe give him some hope. And what the lady told me today wasn't the same large time frame at all, she said DPD on Friday so now I will stay in all day, so well worth phoning.

Truth be told I can't really afford to go and buy a phone in store as well BUT if my online order isn't delivered then I will just tell Apple to RTS and not deliver it and hopefully process my refund faster.

I ordered within 5 mins of pre-orders opening, and it has said delivery on 25th all along, but it's still saying "Preparing for Dispatch".

Should I be worried yet? It's now 15:50 on 23rd...

Cheers mate. IF I can get a gold 64GB reserved on Saturday morning (LOL) then I'll try and swap.

If not I don't think I'll resist opening and keeping it.
You can still open it and use it. You just have to have taken 'reasonable care' of it while you have it.

Everytime I pass by the reception in my company there's a delivery truck outside and I waste 2 minutes waiting for the guy to come in to find out it's not my iPhone. The receptionist actually asked me if I was expecting something important and I was like "my new iPhone on Friday". She didn't even reply. FML
