That's just if you're in one of the select post codes which Apple then lists if you open up the further info, and for those post codes it'll give you a revised date. For the majority of the UK, and probably for all of us in this thread, it'll mean launch day delivery.Sorry to be pedantic, but it doesn't say it will be delivered on launch day.
It says "Delivers 25/9 in most areas by Standard Shipping".
Thats Apple's get out clause.
Lucky! I always get Amazon Logistics delivering mine and it comes any time between 10am and 10pm :/DPD have come a long way in the last 12 months, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to bid on an Apple contract for iPhone delivery. They handle most of Amazons orders with ease.
UPS have started giving 4 hour time slots now, or at least my latest UPS order did have one. I am on UPS My Choice though. It never ceases to amaze me how great DPD are and how wrong most other couriers get it.
The thing is, DPD are relatively new/young and if they can offer 1 hour time slots, why the hell don't the likes of UPS?![]()
I'm on it and I've been checking to see if any deliveries are scheduled to my address, but nope! Makes sense now that someone explained it'll all be handled by Syncreon until they delegate it to one of the three couriers, probably tomorrow.Anyone else signed up for UPS My Choice? I'm not holding out too much hope it'll actually work as it utterly failed to advise me of my watch delivery last time, though it'd be interesting to see if anyone else gets a heads up from them.
Yeah I think that'll be very useful! I like the 2 finger gesture that allows you to do that on iPad.This is very cool way of using 3|D Touch not seen shown before
