UK Mail update: Collected 12:10 just outside Newcastle in Ryton (use this if you want more info than the UKMail website tracker http://www.business-post.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/ws_quickpod.html)
Just spoken to DPD on twitter and they haven't and won't receive the iPhones until later tonight for delivery tomorrow morning!Mine will be delivered by DPD, nothing comes up using the tracking number yet.
Apologies to bump my own post, but I think it may have been lost amongst all this delivery notification chat.
I think I may order an iPhone 6S+ from John Lewis and play with it over the weekend with my three sim. Will this affect my returns options if I don't get on with it? The network locking has worried me.
I'll just keep my 6S from Apple boxed up and ready to go as a backup.
Cheers
If your tracking number begins with 1AZ (or something like that) then it's definitely a UPS number. It won't show up in their system for a little while

That sounds like healthy advice. Just wishing I had ordered a 6S+ from Apple in the first place and just returned it as part of a test run if I didn't like it.I don't think JL will be as accommodating about returning used / open stock as Apple. So I wouldn't open unless you intend to keep
Terms & conditions
- If you're unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, we'd like this to be within 90 days of purchase
- If you return your item to one of our shops and you'd like a refund but don't have your receipt, order confirmation or delivery note, we'll give you a gift card to the value of the current selling price. Ordinarily if you have your receipt or delivery note we'll refund the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase
- It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We'd expect this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's undamaged and unused
- We'll refund any delivery charges you've paid if you return an entire order (UK orders only)
See full terms and conditions here, and information on Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Also you are likely to want to insert a sim card to use the phone which will lock it to a carrier which I would say makes it used and unsaleable at full RP!
