I'm very impressed with my 6S Plus. Can't get over how fast TouchID is now. The faster processor and 2GB of RAM certainly make a difference in terms of speed/installing apps. 3D Touch is taking some getting used to (I feel like I'm going to break my screen, haha).

Hope everyone is enjoying their new phones.... and those who've got to wait (I feel your frustration!) it's definitely worth it.

i dont know if anyone else wants to back me up on this but im pretty sure you need to completely discharge and charge to full
You can't run the batteries completely down. The phone won't let you. The display days 0% but the cells are actually at 10%. When sites say you shouldn't run them all the way down they either have no idea what they are taking about our are referring to the tech in general.

To calibrate and get the most from your battery charge to full. Run it down until power off and charge to full.

I went from 5s to 6s+, and I expected to be impressed, but I am more than impressed.
Buying the iPhone 6s+ and Apple Care Plus certainly was my highest contactless purchase so far.

I'm having problems with DPD too - not received order and now saying "Your parcel could not be delivered as we don't have the full name/number of the premises". I called them at 7:30pm and they maintained it would be delivered tonight!
I'm off to the depot tomorrow. That way I don't waste any more time waiting for them!

I'm very disappointed, I have an email from apple stating that I would receive my iPhone today "Delivers 25/09/2015"

I also have an email and text I received today from UK Mail stating that the consignment is out on the van for delivery today.

I also rang UK Mail who promised me I would receive my handset before 8pm today.

I ordered the iPhone @ 8.02am on the 12th of September on the understanding I would get it on launch day.

I'm very disappointed, both with Apple & their choice of courier.

I took the whole day off work today just to make sure I was home to sign for my delivery.

If I knew that was not the case I would have reserved in store to make sure I was able to get my handset on launch.

I guess maybe it will arrive tomorrow although now both Apple and UK Mail's websites now show the date as September 28th 2015, if that is indeed the case then thats another huge disappointment.

I believe this is a clear breach of The Consumer Contracts Regulations that state goods must be delivered within the time frame you agree with the seller.
Sounds to me like your human rights have been breached too.

Had my Iphone reserved... had to wait in line for more than half an hour but I got my IPhone plus and I’m loving it.
haven’t set up everything I need to set up but I will tomorrow. Got the silver one, I saw the pink one, nice too.. not too pink , nice colour but I’m happy with my silver.. is gonna live in a case anyway

The weight of the 6S+ is really starting to bother me!? It feels about twice as heavy as my normal 6. Wondering if i should have stuck to a 6S :/
Having the exact same dilemma. Very tempted to pack the + up and get a 6s.

Initial issues are the additional weight.. Can really notice coming from a 6 and the one handed use.

May give it a few days and see how I fair

I read this; "Do not fully charge or fully discharge your device’s battery — charge it to around 50 per cent. If you store a device when its battery is fully discharged, the battery could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding a charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life." You didn't go for the Apple store here?! I got mine at 8am, and got a free bacon roll and coffee too :p

Nah, we ordered with my wife's credit card on my account and I didn't want to risk the tiny chance of not being able to pay because we don't have a joint account. Next year I'll buy it on my card and go in at the same time you did, hehe.

Oh. I was going to run it down and then charge to 100%. is that wrong?

That's for storing your device?

yea i feel touch id is now at the point it should have been when they released it on 5s.

try not to break your ipad screen haha
I feel the same way about my Air. Still a great tablet, but no Touch ID & 3D Touch upsets me s little. But, I don't use it too often, so it's ok, I guess.
This is the longest I've gone without upgrading my iPad too, so it'll be primed for an update next year. Spending that money on upgrading my old Apple TV2, in a few months.

I picked mine up at 10am from apple store, only gave my name no iD needed and no email asked for just my name!!!

Same here, arrived at 10:20 for my 10:30 appointment and was walking out the door at 10:29 with my phone.

The AppleStore was heaving though, looks like all the staff were out front serving customers, every table had customers around them.

Yeah I'm going to give it a few days as well. I dunno, i might get used to it.

I ordered at 08:0-something and I have the shipment coming by UK Mail.

Which means I'll see you all on the iPhone 7 thread once my 6S finally arrives :)

I've no idea where mine is! Originally sent to the wrong depot, then arranged for Monday delivery, then supposedly "expressed" to me this afternoon but never arrived.

I've got DPD telling me I'll get it tomorrow morning and Carphone Warehouse saying it'll be Monday. All the while I can't track it anymore as the tracking stopped when DPD removed it from the normal delivery schedule to "express" it to me.

I always kick myself when I let football results affect my mood. Well, tonight I'm giving myself a good kicking for letting a phone ruin my day! :(

So after a lengthy ukmail wait today I have a hot pixel ( white spot that can be seen on light backgrounds) and heavily yellow tinted screen. My current 6 looks a lot better so this one's going back! What a day!

6s Plus. Amazing. Instantly made my 5s look like something my five year old made in class with cardboard and crayons.

Okay. Exaggerating a bit, but boy what a difference. The experience is so so superior.
