Went to Trafford Centre today, every phone shop including Apple store has huge signs saying "iPhone 6S/6S+ in stock", not as popular this time or did shops get more stock?

From what's being said, Apple had a lot more stock before launch. The demand was there, ask the poor couriers who had to deliver them.

I think there was more stock available this year and I think that the 6S is quite easy to get hold of. However the 6S plus seems to be quite limited especially in 128GB. I think most of the plus stock went to Apple Stores. O2 had none available for walk in sales yesterday and told me they would have no stock until the 6th October.

Early reports suggest that Apple will surpass the record breaking first weekend sales from last year.

O2 stores didn't have the 6 plus at launch last year. Turned up 2 weeks or so later.

They are useless. When I eventually got my 6 plus at the end of November after waiting so long it was a struggle to get 128GB and ended up settling for the space grey as I was fed up of waiting.

I just preordered again this year with them. My 6s plus turned up yesterday without fuss. Same as last year with the 6 plus.

Stratford store was interesting yesterday. Walked through at midday and there were no queues at all. They either got through them much faster or demand was less. Hmm...

I decided to chance it and see what was in stock. No 6S 128GB RG unfortunately, but plenty of silver and space grey. 6S Plus apparently a lot rarer.

So I took the plunge and ordered another 6s 128GB in gold!! Due for delivery on Monday. Hopefully won't have any issues with the sleep/wake button, although maybe I'm being too fussy?! If it's the same feel as the 6s I got yesterday then I might have to accept that's how most of them will be! Although the 6s I'm sending back the button was a little sunken into the chassis on one side.

I've got the 6s Plus and have no issues with the power button on mine.

There are queues in there now. I've been in about 30 mins ago and there were about 15-20 people queuing in the cordoned off area inside. It was very busy. I managed to get a silicone case. I was interested in getting the brown classic buckle but I couldn't be bothered to wait for it. Yeah I think the plus is quite hard to get at the moment.

Who did you speak to? Applecare?

So I've finally persuaded myself that I 'need' a 6S+ 128GB. Tried to get a reservation today but made the mistake of falling asleep briefly after the alarm, woke up at 6.05. Initially showed in stock at my local store but buy the time I went through the process, all stock within 100 miles of London had gone. Gold or space grey would be fine for me.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get one in the London area tomorrow?

I believe that Pluses are like rocking horse poo right now, and really hard to find. Apple reservations would be your best bet, and even they are struggling I think for Pluses
