I was under the impression Three don't lock their phones..?
Three don't, but if you were to buy an iPhone from CPW or John Lewis it will lock to their sim.

Phones bought from Three may not be locked, however if you buy a phone from a retailer (such as John Lewis or Carphone Warehouse) who lock their phones to the network of the first sim you put in the phone, then it will be locked to this network, whether it is a network who lock their phones or not.
EDIT: That is why they also unlock phones for free, so customers from Carphone Warehouse and other retailers who lock phones, can have their phone unlocked in line with customers who went directly to Three, instead of using a third-party.
But my Nexus 6 from Carphone Warehouse works with my EE sim and my Three sim, same for my girlfriends Samsung Galaxy S6.
Is this an iPhone thing?

Yes, for some reason CPW stock iPhone that locks to the first sim. No idea why, but as both Giffgaff and Three will sell you a completely unlocked model it must be CPW that want it that way.
Ahh so it's just iPhones, seems a bit weird though.. What is the purpose?

Surely you can then get Three to unlock it as there is a free application lol.
Yes, if you lock it with a Three sim you can apply to Three for a (free) unlock. Not so easy if you used an EE, Voda or o2 sim (or any of their MVNO's).
Just had a look at the Zagg website, looks like some decent quality stuff but it doesn't come cheap! Was it a glass protector they were offering?Just been in town looking for a screen protector and Vodaphone provide a service where they put a zagg protector on for £15. Has anyone done this and if so, is it worth it?
Will they unlock payg for free on three?
Just had my first practical use of non-plugged in Siri. Was walking past my phone with my hands full and had to send the wife a text. Worked flawlessly. If it works that good all the time it could be up handy.
Yep, mine is like this also. My power button and volume buttons feel very recessed and feel flush with the body of the phone making it hard to press. I'm returning my iPhone and re-purchasing instore so if there are any other problems, I can just take it to my local Apple Store instead of having to mail it back to Apple.I hope someone can clear something up...
My mute button seems loose. Please let me explain...In the unmute position the switch seems to move ever so slightly. So if you gently touch it you can feel it move slightly...I hope that makes sense.
Could someone please check theirs and tell me if this is normal?
Thanks
You mean something like this?:What I'm looking for is an edge-to-edge screen protector for the i6. Does such a thing exist?
Siri is proving to be the worst bit so far for me with the 6S Plus.
Has no concept of Rugby, can't find any movies playing near me and does not know the artist Kygo, instead offering a random Latin artist with a differently spelt name. Would be alright if I could correct Siri on this error.
Siri has sent some texts though which were helpful.
Does anyone know if having the Siri always on feature wear down the battery more?
Thanks
