I got the 6s and was downsizing from the 6plus.
That's what I did, got 6s and iPad mini 4. Whilst I like the 6+ found it to big to fit in every day usage.

This is what I did also. Got rid of 6plus and iPad Air and moved to 6s and iPad mini. I'm going to ditch my laptop in November and get the iPad Pro. I hardly ever use my laptop and its 6years old now!

I hope someone can clear something up...
My mute button seems loose. Please let me explain...In the unmute position the switch seems to move ever so slightly. So if you gently touch it you can feel it move slightly...I hope that makes sense.
Could someone please check theirs and tell me if this is normal?

Thanks
Mine does it .. My 6plus did it too, almost so it rattled!! All fine though it was just different

Opposite for me. But of background, I have a 16gb 6 and the wife has a 16gb 4s

After thinking I'd get the 6s 64gb and give her my 6 I actually stopped and thought about my usage. Mainly business type tasks so email, calendar messages etc the a bit of YouTube and Facebook. That's about it. The 6s offered nothing to me that the 6 didn't already do.

So I found a replacement (2 days ago) iPhone 6 64GB for £370. I buy my phones outright anyway as my unlimited everything contract is only £8 per month.

Just seemed better for me and my usage.

I must be getting old

A few threads cropping up in the main forum area now regarding the battery life of the 6s being less than impressive! Have to take the reports with a pinch of salt as everyone has just got their iPhones in the last few days and as it's a new toy then most are probably constantly in use until the novelty wears off! Not everyone is complaining of poor battery life which is good, it depends on the user demands i guess!

3D Touch would have been great for you doing emails and messages, being able to hold down on the keyboard to move the cursor to correct errors is brilliant.

It's not a game changer though is it. And it's not worth (to me anyway) £250+ between a 6 and 6s

Don't get me wrong, for years I've always had the latest iPhone for the better this better that. Just not this time

Well, i think I've decided to return the 6S Plus. I just can't get on with it, its too big, too cumbersome. Going to get a 6S in Gold instead i think.

Apple says 1-2 weeks for delivery at the moment, anyone reckon if thats likely to be faster?

you should get on fine with the 6s then as it's a perfect size IMO. Be warned though the battery life won't be anywhere near as good as your 6s+ is. Not sure if you'll get it any quicker than Apple state but you never know!

I should get my 6s tomorrow.

It's £80 difference between 6 and 6S from the Apple Store; I can definitely agree 3D Touch isn't amazingly brilliant, nor necessary but it's a huge step in the world of smartphones.

Well i came from a 6 and i was happy with the size. I think its just the fact you can't really use it one handed, well i can't i don't have huge hands. I could probably deal with it, but i don't think i would enjoy the device as much. Also i haven't found the 6S+ battery life to be great in all honesty. I thought it was good, but its not good enough that you still won't have to charge it every night.

I know what you mean, I tried out a 6+ and whilst it was a nice phone it's just too bulky and big for me, I also don't have huge hands! Whatever your 6s+ battery life was you can shave more off it when moving down to the 6s. It will all depend on how you use the device at the end of the day! Hope you enjoy the 6s when you get one! :)

That's shouldn't be like that. The mute switch should be solid. Every iOS device I've had since 2008 has had them solid with no rattling. An Apple Store should replace that(stock permitting).

Before the silver and rose gold 6s's are going back to apple, thought I'll give someone the option to get them.

Bought from Apple Store and delivered Friday for my daughters. Boxes still sealed. Returning as expecting 2 from NYC on Wednesday... Just works out a little cheaper!

PM me if you're interested.

The £250+ they quoted is the cost of selling a 6 and buying a 6S

Walked away with an iPhone 6S 64GB Space Grey. Messed around with the Plus but I always use my phone one handed and it just seemed a bit too unwieldy. Not keen on having to use two hands to use it comfortably. Maybe when they reduce bezel size in future redesigns.

Nice update from an iPhone 5 (content blockers!). Just backing up my old one now and unpairing Watch etc.

I'll have to dig through this thread and see what's occuring.

No I've brought a just replaced by Apple (so as new, 90 days warranty) 64gb 6 for £375.

A new 6s 64GB is £619 so the difference is £244

The Mrs will have my 6, 16gb now.

I think personally that the jump from a 5/S to a 6S+ is too big.

I went from a 5S to a 6+ on launch day last year, but had to return the Plus for a 6 within the 2 week period as I just couldn't get on with the size.

This year, I've gone from my 6 to a 6S+ and I love it and the size difference is nowhere near as noticeable as it was 12 months ago.

Can someone please remind me what this is made up of in terms of data on the iphone? I have 20Gb's worth according to itunes.

I think the info from itunes is bugged? It states I have 422Mb of photos. I hit sync and it appears as 19gb (which is what's actually on the phone) then returns to 422Mb when the sync ends. It also tells me I have 41Gb free space.

On the phone, it's also saying 41Gb free space.

So the discrepancy is the photos. Is itunes reporting them as 'other'? What's the 422mb?

Christ, I'm dizzy.

Have now hit 20% have put in to low power mode. Not bad for 11.5 hours of moderate use.
