Congrats!

There were no 64gb + available at Birmingham at all :-(

Part of me just wants to stick with 6s I got yesterday and maybe get iPad mini 4.

I'm impatient!
That's what I did, got 6s and iPad mini 4. Whilst I like the 6+ found it to big to fit in every day usage.

I'm rather loving my 6S. Even though going from a 6 wasn't any sort of huge leap it's still the greatest iPhone I've had and really really loving it all over. Even the colour of course ;)

Been using mine all weekend and it's is noticeably a different phone.

- It's really snappy
- Touch ID is almost telepathic
- 3D Touch is fun but I increased sensitivity on mine to make it more effortless
- Haven't even touched Livephotos cos its of no interest to me.
- Some components like the vibration rotor and display have been changed to different manufacturers I think
- It is noticeably 'chunkier' and 'weightier'
- Has a habit of stuttering occasionally which is weird.

Not wowed but it's a nice phone. Already looking forward to iPhone 7 though.

It reminds me of the 4S revision and I have a feeling it'll stay alive in Apple's ecosystem for just as long.

Just altered my 3D Touch too. The edge to get in to app switcher takes a bit more pressure than I like. But other than that 3D Touch works very well.

Yes the battery isn't much bigger than the 5s, 1715mah vs 1560mah but the iPhone 6s is quite a bit bigger and has more tech to power under the hood! I'm rather disappointed that Apple decided to shrink the battery in the new handsets!

They may have shrunk them but they do seem to be more efficient. Partly iOS, partly the tech but my S+, is currently at 63% since 08:00 yesterday (except for a half hour top up it got while I forced it to do an iCloud backup). So I'm not arguing. I know it's a Plus model but I can't imagine the 6S is any less efficient.

I'm a bit underwhelmed of the 6S.

My 5S is far better made, a better size and the battery lasts longer. The 6S is like a modern MX5. Bigger. Fatter. More electronics. The older ones are still better! At least I don't need to use it that much, as the Apple Watch really is brilliant.

6S - a fantastic tablet, just not a very good phone.

Struggling to believe your 5s has a better battery life than the 6s - The 6s battery is much, much bigger. Are you sure you're not just playing around with the 6s a lot more because it's "new"?

Agree about TouchID it fairly flies now. I know there's people complaining it's too fast now LOL

Unless you've deliberately turned it off each time you take a photo you've touched Live Photos whether you want to or not. So you might not want them now, but they'll be there when you do

The vibration rotor is a completely different engine now, it's the Taptic Engine. The old vibrate is gone completely. So manufacturer makes no odds I guess, it would feel different whoever made it.

Noticeably chunkier and weightier than what? I ask because I've from a 6 Plus and I don't really notice a lot of difference. If you can detect 0.2mm difference by hand you're doing very well :)

There's already rumours out there about what the 7 will bring. Go read them and drool ready for next year :) :)

Did anyone know using 3D-touch on the left hand side of the Home Screen, brings up the app switcher instead of double clicking the Home Button.

Was actually covered in the Keynote. I like it. Been trying to do it on my ruddy iPad it's so easy to get used to. Pity it doesn't work in Landscape mode. And it would be nice if a similar press on the right did something useful too. No idea what, but I'm all for completeness :)

Some people are really trying to take advantage of the waiting times on the new 6S & 6S+ with handsets selling on eBay for a fair chunk higher than retail price!

Changed my mind and decided now to keep the 6s plus as battery life on 6s was not as good.

About £200 markup seems to be average on a 64GB Plus model. Ouch. Well, if some muppet wants to pay that rather than wait I guess it's up to them but it really gets on my nerves that there'll be people who wanted a phone direct from Apple who couldn't get one because of all these scalping resellers. We're not allowed to beat them to death right? That's still against the law?

Here in Norwich the local CEX store is charging £760 for a 64GB 6S.

Got my 128gb 6s Plus on Friday from Apple Store, Upgrade on EE. Was shocked that the handset price was £40 more in the Apple Store than it is on EE's website (£189 for 128gb 6s Plus on £59pm contract, same deal is only £149 and potentially £129 with EE's reward20 code)

Asked about the price, but apparently they can't change the price as EE set it on their iPad's and it talks to their Easy Pay system. Did manage to get a free Apple Leather Case though so the £40 was covered with that. Really good of them to do this!

The Phone itself is amazing, coming from an iPhone 6 Plus last year the Touch ID is crazy fast, to the point I'm now using notification centre more as I'm unlocking the phone before I can see the notifications on the lock screen. Need to re-educate myself to unlock with the Sleep/Wake Button.

Live photos are cool, I like that they are on be default and that you can take the live part off photos that don't need them.

3D Touch is very good, I love how 3rd party apps have all ready started to embrace this and once more take it on it will become second nature. I am having difficulties in activating the app switcher but it just needs practise.

Absolutely love my 6s Plus. Does anyone else find it annoying that as the Touch ID is so quick now that they can't get to the camera short cut on the lock screen lol?

LOL, yeah it is a bit quick. Use a different finger, the knuckle of the finger you normally use or the sleep/wake button. It is a bit of a faff though after getting used to after the old one being so slow :)

Nice breakfast to start the day

Been checking myself on eBay but it looks like the ones that are actually been bid on are not going for that much more once you take Ebay and PayPal fees might break even
