I've just got a 6+, and was playing around with a 6s+ the other day in the Apple Store. You can tell that thing has double the RAM. I'm surprised how much the 6+ stutters.

I've noticed it most when flicking between tabs, which now don't have to reload anymore.

I'm coming from a 5, and honestly, the 6s+ is saving me so much time with TouchID and pages not having to reload!

My 6S arrived yesterday a day earlier than expected and I am over the moon with it. I've had every iPhone since 3GS and this one is by far my favourite of them all. I have the 64GB Rose Gold and yes to me it is definitely pink but not an in your face pink and I think it looks amazing.
I'm still getting to grips with the new features but I can see me using them all quite easily and I don't think it will take too long for 3D touch to become second nature.

I'm that used to 3D Touch now I find myself pressing links on my Air 2 in the vain effort they'll "Peek and Pop" haha!!

Enjoy your new 'phone :)

Envirophone have knocked the price of my old 5s down from £173 to £147 because of "minor cosmetic damage" What do the expect from a 2 year old mobile device?? It had a slight scratch on the screen and was in mint condition otherwise. I think they lure you in then drop the price, whereas Mazuma guaranteed me the price offered albeit only £150, and their service is much quicker.

exact same with mine, has he slightest scratch down one side of the bezel, maybe a cm long?

its been classed as FAULTY, and knocked off £25... but thing is, like you said, they've lured you in and once you realise that getting the phone back, plus another £8 Special Delivery bla bla and a another possible knock down from another recycler, the £147 will just have to do!

I'm surprised anybody does contracts nowadays your talking £1300 sim free all the way and a decent cash back sim only offer your talking £900

Would much prefer to go sim free and my girlfriend did this with the 6+ it's just the big outlay in the beginning.

Envirofone… Bait and switch?

They made me a decent offer for my iPhone 5 16GB and so I sent it in last week.
The expiry date of their offer was yesterday, 6th October. Luckily Royal Mail's slow delivery got it there just in time.

Later on Monday I receive an email from Envirofone: Apparently the iPhone has "minor cosmetic wear and tear" and they knock off a good £25 from the original offer.

I asked them to return my iPhone as I know that the iPhone is in mint condition, so I suspected they were up to shenanigans.

This morning another email from them…
"Due to the financial cost and environmental impact to return your phone we have now re-valued your phone to provide the original sale value"

Seems to be the way they do things. I wonder how many people they catch like this?

Anyway. I'm getting the price they offered originally, so I am happy it seems to have worked out. (Have to see the money in my bank first. ;))

Same thing happened with my 5 32Gb, two minor scratches on the shiny bezel, and they reduced the price by £17 (if I'm not mistaken) for cosmetic damage ...
I accepted anyway, but should have asked for a return. Live and learn...

I've lost count of the phones I've sold to Envirofone and I have never had a problem with reduced offers etc but I've never sold a phone to them with any scratches or damage.

What are people paying for contracts? They seem to have shot up over the last two years.

My line rental with Vodafone should be £64 a month but I know someone who works for Vodafone Retail and get a 30 Friends and Family discount.

I think (next year) I'll buy the iPhone outright and go SIMO. It's great Vodafone still offer 12 month agreements but with the recent increase in Spectrum fees I think this year might be the last they are offered.

I've seen that a couple of times in this thread. Same thing happened when they asked for their phone back, they came back and said we'll give you the full value. I certainly wouldn't use Envirofone again.

Well they caught me, I just didn't think it was worth persuing for the extra £25 it was reduced by. Maybe I should've called their bluff too...And 7 days for a BACS transfer, what's all that about?

My original quote with Envirofone was reduced due to "minor cosmetic wear and tear".

Wish I'd stuck to my guns now and requested my iPhone back; would've been interesting to see if they'd have honoured the existing deal for me.

Kudos to you for getting the original price.

I've never used Envirophone. I always use Mazuma and never had any issue. They usually offer more.

That's the thing which got me. 7 days, madness.
I've had this with several phone recyclers - they quote 7 days by BACS and then on the 7th day (or sometimes later) the payment arrives by... Faster payments! (Instant)

I'm guessing they're struggling with cash flow.

I've only used Mazuma before. Once the phone has passed testing, they send payment within a couple of hours. Which is via fast payment.

I used mazuma before but used envirofone this time as I got a higher initial offer plus the 5% code for my pristine 6 plus 128GB . I had an email last monday to say they had tested my phone and they would pay the full price. Went into my account yesterday.

When I was looking Envirophone offered £10 more, and if you used a code you could get an extra 5% on top of that. Also they offered free Special Delivery. Mazuma though they seem more likely to give the price quoted and give you the money within hours rather than a week later. I only went with Envirophone as they offered to hold the price for an extra week which meant I didn't have to send it off until I got my new one. Should have just taken "less" from Mazuma as it would have been more than what Envirophone knocked me down to. Should have asked for the phone back it seems as they might have given me the full value if I had.
