Just buy another at the store (either online or retail) and return it?My beautiful saddle brown case was water stained last night by using it in a light drizzle of rain. Thought Apple would be quite good about replacing it and although they are happy to replace it, they are maintaining I have to send it back first! Essentially I have to leave my phone uncased whilst I await a replacement.
I spent 55 mins on the phone tonight waiting to speak to a manager to try and make them see sense and not just be policy junkies, but there was no manager available to speak to me.
Absolutely disgusted by the poor customer service. I've had phones and cases from Apple amongst other products, every year for the last 5 years and I'm not happy. I'm not prepared to leave my £699 phone unprotected just because they expect me to adhere to their policy!
Also, in my view I'm penalised for buying it online, as I am prevents from returning it to my local store and obtaining a replacement there and then.
I know it's just a case, and to be honest that's my issue. It's a simple case of replacing faulty goods! It shouldn't require me to wait on the phone for an hour to resolve nor should it need me to suffer due to their rigid policies. They have my card details, they have my phone number and they have my address. I'm not going anywhere so if I don't send the old case back they would be welcome to charge me for the replacement case.

Also, I don't think the cases are waterproof? Was it a really bad stain?
I live in Willington itself.Did-um! I'm from near Toyota Island. Ahoy!
how much you paying now? Hows is the network? My line rental with Vodafone should be £64 a month but I know someone who works for Vodafone Retail and get a 30 Friends and Family discount.
I think (next year) I'll buy the iPhone outright and go SIMO. It's great Vodafone still offer 12 month agreements but with the recent increase in Spectrum fees I think this year might be the last they are offered.
You don't want to go on a contract?I'm in dire need of an upgrade. My iPhone 5 battery is only lasting around 3 hours (it's three years old though so I can't complain) and its beginning to act odd.
But I always buy outright and want the 64gb this year. I've always had 16gb but apps are getting bigger. As are photos and videos etc and since I plan to keep it for 2/3 years 16gb really isn't going to cut it.
But I'm still £80 short, IE just enough for the 16gb not enough for 64gb.
So tempted to give in and go pick up a 16gb given the state of my 5. The battery hit 20% after three hours usage today (5 hours standby). It gets hot for no reason. It changes settings by itself.
I've done a restore to no avail. I can't really complain. Its been used heavily every day for three years and it's just this last week or so it's started showing its age.
Just hoping I can hold out until I have enough for the 64gb.

....
I've yet to see a contract that wasn't complete rip off.
If I buy outright it's £619+£240 so a total of £859.
For that I get 1000mins 5000sms and 2gb data.
Have I missed a contract that's close to that?
That's what I've just done, except taken finance on the phone adding £90 interest to spread the cost, so total of £950 rather than £1150 for the cheapest contract.
I've never seen a contract that came close to beating the buy outright prices.
I'm not adverse to contracts but I've never seen one that made financial sense to me.
No they don't. Especially now they've gone so high.
Problem for most I imagine is the big initial outlay. For me I've been travelling for six months so don't have an iPhone to sell and upgrade. Whereas next year or the following I'll have the 6s to use as part payment for the 7 or 7s.

I ordered my space grey 64GB 6S last week from Apple. Delivery due 8th-12th October so could be Thursday, but could also be Monday. Not despatched yet. Could anyone give a suggestion of the general time between despatch and delivery? Just want to know if I should expect it Thursday or Monday basically as it's not very precise and I'm having it delivered to the office. I thought that would improve my chances of getting it sooner but I actually now think it could work out the opposite way!
