Set my alarm for 7.45 but fell back asleep and managed to order at 8.35 :( Ordered a Gold and Rose Gold 64gb Plus, now need to decide which I prefer. Rose Gold model doesn't ship until October, any chance this may be pushed forward do you think?
 
Was anyone able to add a second phone to their order. For some reason I was unable to do it in the app or even on the website. Had to then make a second separate order each time!

Also can't see any notes on order limits?

Wonder if I've already bought 2 (in separate orders)- can I also select one for in store pickup?

No it wouldnt allow me to either Kept saying basket empty when you try continue shopping. Think you need to do 2 seperate orders
 
Couldn't resist, ordered 6s 64GB Rose Gold and 6s Plus 64GB Rose Gold.

Apple Store app, Apple Pay, order went through at about 8:08 (as soon as was physcially possible) but NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL!!!

Says order received in the account though. It better have gone through!

Rose Gold Pluses now selling out.
I ordered the same about 8:15 and still no confirmation email,
when I started the order it said delivery on th 25th. When I finished with the order it said delivery 5-9 OCT:eek:

Really?! Wow! This is crazy cause in the app no delays are showing every model just says delivery 25/9 ? Confusing
 
I want to punch EE in the face.

Been trying to upgrade my wife's phone since just before 8. Failed more times than I can count, their website simple does not work! IDIOTS!!!!

So.... I've accidently ordered two iPhone 6S+'s! I got to frustrated trying to order though lol. Also Apple Pay failed, it just had a big exclamation point next to my shipping address... Got my email saying 25th though!!!
 
The rose gold plusses have slipped to 2-3 weeks, I guess it always was going to be in demand with it being the new option. It was the same with the pluses last year, and the gold they year before.
 
Just want to check i have this right, I just preordered for in-store collection, I selected iPhone with Carrier plan as i plan to upgrade my EE contact. Am I ok to do this ?
 
My first pre-ordering experience...had the app store open on iPhone and apple.com on my Mac. Was getting the 'we will be right back' message on both well after 8.01 AM when forum members were posting details of orders placed successfully...panicked...deleted the App and reinstalled. Was then able order on the App at around 8.10 :) Phew! Got the 64GB 6S Plus and reserved in-store pickup for 25/09 at 8AM.
 
Does anyone know how in store pick up will work? Got my slot 8:15-8:30 but will I be in a big queue with lots of people or will I actually be able to pick it up at that time?
 
Open a new tab, go to Store at the bottom of the page, click on reserve and then it will ask you to UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD!

Then go back to the reserve page and enter your new password. Thanks Apple for wanting everyone to update their passwords this morning!

Of course then you may have to send a text to reserve and that isn't working either.

I had to use a different Apple ID to reserve in store; for no reason whatsoever it didn't need a text verification. The other Apple ID still hasn't sent me the text verification.

I tried ordering using apple pay but like many others it said there was a problem with my shipping address
So I entered my details manually, and now I've got my confirmation email
Do you think I would be able to change my order so that I can pick it up in store instead of having it delivered? I've tried phoning + using their chat but they don't open until 9. I'll try again then
 
Do you reckon everyone in Cupertino sits around their Macs mashing refresh to see all of the orders flooding through? Must be pretty amazing to experience the other end of this!
 
I think they are dropping them. Last year they had a 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 20GB plans. This year they only have 3GB, 20GB, and 30GB plans.

They may offer better plans in a couple of months when demand has settled down.
Yes a reasonable selection of data plans but only with unlimited voice. Sneaky up selling. I guess I'll have to wait as I hate paying for something I am not going to use.
 
Did anyone else get any issues using Apple Pay on the App?

It came up with a big red exclamation mark beside my 'shipping address', so I filled it in again, but it still didn't like it.
So I had to opt for the 'other payment method'.

I had the same issue, wasn't particularly fun entering my address a few times when in full blown preorder fury mode.

They have one queue for those picking up reserved phones and one for the chancers//scalpers

Eventually managed to order a 128GB 6s Plus for in store collection on the morning of 25 September - the store's on my way to work so much easier that way. I had the same shipping address issues trying to order via ApplePay (iOS9 GM) and AppleID password issues as previously mentioned by others - in the end I managed to get in to the online store using Chrome as the online store on Safari just wouldn't load.

Hope everyone got what they were after!
