They were working yesterday, they even had the business people in specially. Hearing the background noise over the phone it sounded like an office from Wolf of Wall Street...Anyone know if EE are working today?
Placed my EE order yesterday morning and shortly after received a "ORDER REFERRED. It is now being processed and we will be in touch if we need more information from you."
Nothing since.
First time moving away from O2 after 15 years...

Fair enough. Everyone needs a day (or two) off.I bet they've got today off.
Thanks, I assume that's what is happening. When that happened to me on a past order, it was them doing a credit check (which I failed, due to only just turning 18). I received an email saying my order had been cancelled but I rang them up and managed to get it re-instated.
They might just have a backlog of credit checks or something.
Just to let you guys know CEX are giving £375 for my iPhone whereas Envirofone are only giving £350. No faffing around either waiting for them to send you the offer through the post. In my experience CEX don't really change their prices after new versions are released either so may be a way to go on or after launch day.
Two issues I have with CEX are:
1. Online what if they deem your phone isn't the grade you think it is? Is it returned, can you trust in the care they take of it?
2. If you sell instore they need to have the money available in the float to pay you. If they don't they can offer a credit voucher for the store or you'll have to keep coming back.
Regarding number 2. I heard somewhere that they can bank transfer you the money if they don't have enough money in the till. Can anybody vouch for that?
Ive personally never had a problem. I sold a link bracelet for Apple Watch to them and they had to go and get cash from elsewhere which only took an hour or so.Two issues I have with CEX are:

Exactly, or perhaps they should try and meet demand and pee customers off?
It does seem a bit of sour grapes IMO, there seems to be a split between buyers:
I'm obviously with the latter train of thought.
- Those that can't for whatever reason move to a 6S/+. These folks seem to feel they have to convince others that the new phones are no good and therefore their "decision" not to get one is the only one to make.
- Those that are moving totally he new phones, who simply think that the world's biggest tech company is fed up of seeing all the negative stuff about people not getting phones and have made a concerted effort to ensure better release day stock levels everywhere and increase customer satisfaction.

I understand your issue with how they grade it and they can be very picky - it all comes down to who inspects your phone / management of said store. I've recently had mine replaced as my original 6 Plus bent near the camera end so shouldn't have an issue.
I've only ever sold in store - don't think they have an option for mail order?
What model are you looking for, and what store? Reservations are still available, but some models are harder to get than others.Hey guys!
I'm wondering. I'm traveling to London (for the magic show of David Gilmour ... yeeey!) And I'm staying until the morning 26/09. You believe that if I go to the Apple Store 25/09 from very early, I can get two iPhone 6s? I have no reservation unfortunately ... from apple's website is no longer option to pick up, only to delivery
Thanks!![]()
Any other sites offering good prices for an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB unlocked?
I like the recycle sites where you just send the handset into them rather than the box and other items. As I've had a warranty replacement, the details on the box don't match my handset.
Im going with Envirophone. There giving me £360 for my regular 6. The next best price at the moment is CEX.
Im not bothering with eBay this year. While I sold it for way more last year the paypal and ebay fees meant I was well short compared to selling it to the recyclers. Also was such a hassle dealing with the daily "I'll give you £150 for a quick sale, msg me back yeah!" emails.
I hate eBay so much. literally full of scammers.
I don't understand how the competition authorities allow eBay to charge up to 15% per sale. eBay's income comes not from providing a good service - because selling with them is a massive pain in the arse - it comes from their monopoly power.the paypal and ebay fees meant I was well short compared to selling it to the recyclers.
Yep selling your phone on gumtree for around £50 less still gets you more profit then if you sold it via eBay with their fees.I don't understand how the competition authorities allow eBay to charge up to 15% per sale. eBay's income comes not from providing a good service - because selling with them is a massive pain in the arse - it comes from their monopoly power.
And then didn't they buy Gumtree?
Appalling.
