Just reserved a 6s for in store pick up (have the 6s plus ordered for delivery already) but didn't have to provide any payment details?

I have to anyway, my Air 2 and iPhone 5 are jailbroken and I will not upgrade these devices until iOS 9 is jailbroken.

That's what I'm waiting for. I've had the 5 for three years and to be honest can't wait to upgrade at this point but I'll sit tight till the jailbreak is released.

Scroll down a bit...

"What you'll need... Your bank information."

So you pay when you get there! :)

Yeah, I realize that. Just saying that when I ordered for delivery payment details were required. Makes sense to do both. Seems a little strange not to require payment details for store pick up.

Just received an email from Spigen, reduced prices so purchase an ultra dual crystal display protector for front and back.

These really help keep your naked iPhone in mint condition without changing the look.

I've just ordered another crystal clear ultra hybrid case. Now that I have a nice colour (silver) I'll be showing off the back more.

Just cancelled my 64GB 6s order as I managed to reserve one at my local store instead. Like others are saying I think the atmosphere there will be really cool!
However, I will probably be returning the one I get from Apple on the 25th as I think I will get partner discount if I buy from John Lewis (I work at Waitrose) - so now it's just a case of waiting to see when John Lewis start selling the 6s!

This time yesterday folks, the fun was beginning.... who misses it? :D

Ive just picked up the glass screen protector, for £4.99 can't go wrong really!!

I am also running iOS 9 and watch OS2 and OS9 is nice, with some nice tweets, its not that groundbreaking.

OS 2 on the other hand its great, what the watch should always have been to be honest!

When I was preordering this morning the pickup option was unavailable, will I be able to choose it later on before delivery or is there some policy that preorders can't be dropped off at a pickup location?
I think pickup option comes from the store's set amount of stock that they have allocated for reservations.

Won't be using a screen protector myself, haven't found one that doesn't make sun glare worse while outside

I just found out from Vodafone UK that despite ordering at 0805 with them my order wasn't processed until 0925 because they used a contingency system to 'prevent main system crashes' and now I'm not guaranteed a device on launch day because it was manually processed so late.

this is what I hate about the carriers!! they're so unreliable and totally ill prepared for things like this

He wanted a 128gb and he got a 64gb and a lot of goodies.

I'm sure the odds of in-store pickup going wrong are the same or lower as your home delivery going wrong.

Yes that was me. There was a glitch in their system and the stock left over from the first day was made available to reserve at midnight on the Friday but it didn't update in real-time so I reserved a phone that had already gone. I actually wanted the 64Gb but the 128Gb was the only one available. Apple felt terrible and gave me all this stuff even though I actually preferred the 64Gb they were offering as compensation! I don't think there will be any issues with the Friday reservations.
