Am I the only one not having issues with the genuine Apple Lightning Cables?

I have two of the 2m ones and two of the 1m ones, had them since I got the 5S at launch and not had any issues with them. Use them daily for my iPad and iPhone.

No troubles here. One of my older ones has that familiar little bulge that seems to precede breakage but never have had one fail.

I use eBay. You know the buyers are genuine because they pay with paypal.

Yes I know there are fees, but you know exactly how much interest there is.

I will be selling my 128GB 6 Plus on eBay. I will list it at the beginning of launch week and with any luck it will
sell for a much higher amount that I would get from a phone buying site the day before I get my new iPhone.

I have watchers on mine as I've had mine up for a while now also had a great offer that I would have accepted straight away too but they weren't too willing to wait till the 25th.... :(

Guys I need advice on what to do! I posted on here yesterday and earlier today, firstly saying I'd ordered the iPhone 6S 64GB and then secondly saying I'd swapped it for 6S+ but I can't decide which I want!

I have a 6 now and half of me wants a bigger screen and the other half is happy with what I've got! At the moment I have a 6S+ on order scheduled to come on the 3rd Oct, but I could cancel and get a 6S 64GB on launch day but I don't know which I want? Any advice/helping me choose would be much appreciated, fire away!

I recently got a Plus after owning a 6 (16GB) since Oct of last year. The 6 is the perfect size for my hands, but the Plus is much easier to read on. I have an upgrade order in with T-Mobile (U.S.A) for the 6S Plus (64GB). I've found I'm putting the 6Plus in my pocket when out and about. With the 6, it was pretty much always in hand. Additionally, I've added a case. While I have to handle the phone differently, I find the reading experience to be worth the compromise.

Anyone else on O2 refresh?

I'm debating whether to buy this outright for 699 or pay off my remaining phone balance of £380 and then take out a new contract. Phone price for new upgrade is £169.99 so would cost me £520 altogether instead of £699. I could also sell my current 6....

Or pay off the rest of my phone balance and take a new contract out elsewhere with less of an upfront cost for the phone....

Did you put a reserve on it? Buy it now? How much are you hoping for?

I paid off my contract with o2 a few months back (iPhone 6 128GB Gold) for around £380 or so and then took out simplicity 30 day rolling for same allowances £23 and I'm outright buying my iPhones, selling my 6 to cover some of that money back.

Ouch so you're looking at over a grand just to get a new iPhone? Assuming you're going 128gb.

I'm tempted to go tesco mobile as there are no upfront costs on any of their handsets. Pay off phone for £380, sell iPhone 6 for 300 ish. Upgrade to tesco mobile.....Would only cost me £80 to upgrade. Hmmmm what to do what. To. Do.

Hmm well I done this a few months ago, it wasn't for the new iPhone initially if I'm honest, I upgraded to the S6 and took it back so I was free to upgrade again

First iPhone with lightning? Don't bother spending the money on Apple lightning cables. They tear so easily and you will end up forking so much money if you keep buying their cables. Buy them from Amazon, I'm currently using these are they're very reliable and I don't tend to buy third party cables but the Apple cables are daylight robbery.

Here's a link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasic...178248&sr=1-1&keywords=amazon+basic+lightning

P.S. If you want I can PM you a picture of one of my cables are how it tore.

Yeah it is, I was planning on buying a 2 meter cable from apple and use that if I'm using my phone on charge in my bed at night and then just buy a bunch of unofficial regular 1 meter cables to charge in other situations should the official one in the box breaks. I know how it is with official cables, they last longer than ones bought from ebay around 6 months vs 1-2 months and some of the unofficial ones I've bought are already broken right away.

Thank you, Looks like I may need to go and purchase the 2 meter one.

I needed a longer cable after doing a bedroom furniture move, but already having plenty of lightning cables didn't want to buy another.

I instead went for the cheap option of a USB A male to female extension cable: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DY1KU3O/

Cheaper still on eBay or at CPC.

Nope, I'm still using my iPad Air cable to charge it and my iPhone 5 Lightning cable to charge my 6.

No issues here.

Catching up on the last 24 hours!!

That's great! I placed placed my trade in order on the 7th and would obviously like to extend even by a day! I need to get phone to them by the 21st which is a Monday meaning even with special next day delivery I need to post on Saturday 19th or possibly even the Friday.

I haven't had the same e-mail as you but maybe I will tomorrow. Have been trying to get into their chat to ask but doesn't seem to be manned at weekends.

Do you have to do anything or is the extension been granted automatically?

I think this is a good gesture and assuming the trade in honour is agreed would really encourage me to use them again.

you will probably get the email today at some point I'm sure,

The email looked like this like this :

I have already sent my device
I need a new enviropack
I would like to extend my offer from the 20th September 2015 to 27th of September 2015

We will email you to let you know when your phone(s) arrive or you can log onto my account for any updates on your sale.

The Envirofone Team

All you need to do is click on an option and it takes you to their page, I haven't clicked on any yet as I booked mine in again after as i learnt about the extra5 code which got me an extra 5% on my price so would have been rude not to :D

I think you can't fault them well at least up until now next step is to see how quick they pay ;)

*have just clicked on option 3 and it takes you to their page and you just click the extend button and hey presto an extra 7 days lovely :D

Apples own recycling page has been updated with the 6. Prices match the current enviro phone prices (£290 for the 64gb black 6).

I still have my iPhone cable from when I got my 6+. Still in great condition (very unlike apple cables.

I have had 2 Amazon basics lightning chargin cables. Not very impressed with the first only lasted a couple months. The current one has already done a couple months no problem
