you will probably get the email today at some point I'm sure,

The email looked like this like this :

Hi Richard

You sold your device on 6 September 2015 and we haven’t received it yet.

You guaranteed price of £405.02 is going to run out on 20 September 2015. If we receive your phone(s) after that date we will only offer you the website price.

Tell us what’s happening.

I have already sent my device
I need a new enviropack
I would like to extend my offer from the 20th September 2015 to 27th of September 2015

We will email you to let you know when your phone(s) arrive or you can log onto my account for any updates on your sale.

All you need to do is click on an option and it takes you to their page, I haven't clicked on any yet as I booked mine in again after as i learnt about the extra5 code which got me an extra 5% on my price so would have been rude not to :D

I think you can't fault them well at least up until now next step is to see how quick they pay ;)

*have just clicked on option 3 and it takes you to their page and you just click the extend button and hey presto an extra 7 days lovely :D

I've had an email this morning.....but no offer to extend! I booked mine twice last Monday - the 2nd time an hour is so later with the 5% code (I found on last years thread!). I went on their chat and cancelled the order without the 5%. Now wishing I hadn't as maybe they aren't offering on orders with the 5% code. I would possible take the 5% hit to extend from 21st to 27th - it's about £12 for me.

I'll try contacting them later for an extension.

Question about recycling old phone.

When I go to pick up my new IPhone at the Apple store on the 25th, can I bring along my old Iphone4 for recycling and get a little money off my new phone or does the recycling has to be done online ?

Apple will give you £25 for a working iPhone 4 in any capacity.

but can I bring it to the store that day?
is £25 ok price for an iphone4? still works but very sluggish and the home button is a pain to use
Yup. Just need the phone and they will give you the money as a store credit you can use immediately.

If it's unlocked then enviro phone would give you around £40. Or as little as £14 if locked to EE/Orange (worst carrier ever. Takes an eternity to unlock)

I just had a look at this program, but it doesn't give me the option to bring in the phone to the shop? It offers a free envelope...??

Ahh thats not good I bet that is the case then with using the 5% I better check when mine has to be returned then think its the 23rd might just take the hit as well then and extend the original one to the 27th just in case,

Let me know what they say hope they do it for you 12 quid is 12 quid :D

I'm quite shocked that there is still stock available on some variants for delivery 25/9 on Monday morning..... :O

It's either better stock availability by Apple, people are still happy with their 6/6 Plus OER
Is this the end of camping out all night!?!?!

Part of me hopes not :)

I hope not either; it's synonymous with new Apple products and various media reports. Not only that, how can Samsung take the Michael out of us?!

Morning all,

Has anyone looked at the CPW deals for O2, they although might not be too different in cost over the 24 months, they have options of paying more upfront and less on the monthly payment.

For example, I've opted for the 6S+ 64GB for £39 p/m and £200 up-front for 5GB on O2 - the ones on the O2 website weren't spectacular tbh.

And for Threes deals **********....!!!!

If you don't want to upgrade every year then go with CPW. If you upgrade through them you will get loyalty bonus and get discounted upfront fees.

Apples own recycling page has been updated with the 6. Prices match the current enviro phone prices (£290 for the 64gb black 6).

Does anyone know if you have to take/send in the charger/cable when you recycle a device through Apple?

I am such a giant mess this year. I'm really really tempted by the extra screen space of the 6s+, but I'm worried that I'll hate the giantness of the phone, so I pre-ordered a 6s and a 6s+.

I also then noticed that they were doing in-store reservations, and since UPS/UKMail deliveries always come late afternoon here, I figured I'd snag a couple of 9am reservations too.

Now I don't know if I should cancel the pre-orders and trust that the in-store reservations aren't going to turn into a giant disappointment, or let the reservations expire and just wait for the pre-orders.

Also wondering if maybe I keep the 6s+ in-store, and cancel that pre-order, then just let the 6s arrive late afternoon.

And all of this is before I have to use the 6s+ for 2 weeks to decide whether I'm returning the 6s or the 6s+.

ARGH! ;)

In the past when I've looked one of the questions was about the original charger and cable being included.

Just had a quick look re: iPhone 6 and it's been removed so I'd guess not?

That was my hope, since it doesn't say anything about them. I think that'd be really nice because I always want more chargers/cables, so when you factor in their cost, it makes the Apple pricing pretty attractive.

Anyone else on O2 refresh?

I'm debating whether to buy this outright for 699 or pay off my remaining phone balance of £380 and then take out a new contract. Phone price for new upgrade is £169.99 so would cost me £520 altogether instead of £699. I could also sell my current 6....

Or pay off the rest of my phone balance and take a new contract out elsewhere with less of an upfront cost for the phone....

I've just paid off my balance with o2, but i've ugraded using mobiles.co.uk (still on o2), much better options if you want to take another contract out, make sure you check the upgrade tab as well, also code for -£15 upfront cost is UPGRADE15

Whoo hoo just got another email offering an extension to 28th. YES PLEAASE!!!!!! Hadn't actually phoned yet.

As an aside am currently on train from Edinburgh to Manchester and there is no wifi :eek::eek:. Just assumed there would be! o_O Good job I have cellular iPad thru my work! ;)

I've made a reservation in my local store for the last slot of the day next friday. Sadly I'm flying in from Prague that evening, if the flight is delayed even a little bit I'll probably miss my reservation.
I asked in store and they said they were unwilling to hold it for me between closing friday and opening Saturday.

Does this mean I have to sit on Friday night refreshing through the reservation options to re-reserve for the Saturday morning?

It's all a bit of a faff really.
