but can I bring it to the store that day?
is £25 ok price for an iphone4? still works but very sluggish and the home button is a pain to use

I might take hubbie's 4 to the store and trade in if I can get £25 off my reservation. If he doesn't mind, of course! The battery doesn't last very long but am sure it will keep charge from our house to the Apple Store!

Does anyone have any experience with recycling phones through www.green-cycle.co.uk? They seem to offer much better rates when compared to Envirofone. I had already sold off my iPhone 6 Plus for a good rate before the keynote. I have an old 8 Gig 5c and was looking to sell it off too. While Envirofone offers around £95 (with the 5% offer), green-cycle is quoting £112, which seems too good. Hence thought of checking with anyone else who might have dealt with them.

Just found out I can upgrade now (I thought it was in October).

Anyway, Just upgraded to iPhone 6S+ 64GB Space Grey with all you can eat data, calls and text.

Comes 9th October. CAN NOT WAIT.

Upgrading from a iPhone 5S 32GB so I can very excited :D!

Oh also, Three offered me 2 years of warranty for free rather than the 1 year. Woot.

I would be keen to know this also, since they appear to be offering around £30 more than envirofone for mine. Although given that their standard is "working" Id be tempted to sell privately. My 5s is in near-mint condition with a tempered glass screen cover, a leather case and an otterbox preserver. I could maybe get a few quid more for it.

Time will tell.

Whoo hoo just got another email offering an extension to 28th. YES PLEAASE!!!!!! Hadn't actually phoned yet.

As an aside am currently on train from Edinburgh to Manchester and there is no wifi :eek::eek:. Just assumed there would be! o_O Good job I have cellular iPad thru my work! ;)

lol nice one I wonder how many people have took them up on their offer :D

Been considering whether o2's 30GB data plan on refresh is a worthwhile option. https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/tariff/ap...-b52288bcc48d&planId=&contractType=paymonthly

Seems they will let you trade your iPhone back to them in 12 months and in return they'll settle the device side of the plan and you can upgrade to the new iPhone.
I've been buying my phones outright for the past few years and using a sim only contract with 3 as this works out a few hundred pound cheaper in the long run but I must admit forking out a lump sum for a new phone is a bit of a task!.

ha ha...so basically you're selling the charger for a quid and sending the phone for free :)) There could be some issue on their system. Try ringing them up...I see a number listed.

I can assure you that unless you have the hands of a child then you can manage a 6S+.

The only people I wouldn't recommend a bigger phone for are those that are clumsy. However if you are careful then the benefits are far better.

The Plus model has better battery life, a better camera with OIS and a sharper & higher resolution display.

I can assure you, for my non-child hands, the 6+ is uncomfortably large to the point that holding it one handed, I cannot stretch my thumb across the screen to the far side.

This is the tariff I have signed up to but paid £120 up front towards it for the 64gb plus space grey. I have also managed to extend Mazuna so I can get £390 for old iPhone 6 plus 64gb unlocked.

That was my hope, since it doesn't say anything about them. I think that'd be really nice because I always want more chargers/cables, so when you factor in their cost, it makes the Apple pricing pretty attractive.

You get to keep your box, charger and cables

So it turns out I was wrong about people not wanting the S models as everybody would have upgraded last year. Apparently pre-orders are going to top 10m. Not shabby

Have a feeling Asia has a big part to play with it though.

The chances are the stock is much higher as the case is easier to make than the 5 with its chamfer edge plus they are already tooled up from the last model.

China is also getting in on the release day action so the only people buying are actual iPhone users and not scalpers hoping to cash in.
