I used to reserve through this page for years (including last year). It normally worked from the preorder day? It feels like they've shunted everything into the app this year.
There was a script someone wrote that would allow you to pick what you were after and then would check store inventory and tell you when your required device was in stock. You could then use that link for reservation.

InventoryWatch was a mac app that did the same but appears to be dead now.

Has anyone in the country managed to place an order with O2? Can't see any evidence of anyone on X or here.

I keep getting booted out and having to restart the process, with long queues and loading times - garbled header code in some cases.

Seems they've had more than just high demand but the whole system has crashed out.

If anyone is desperate...

Sky Mobile have every colour and storage showing as launch day delivery for all models apart from the 2TB 17PM in orange (which shows "from the 19th" rather than delivery "on the 19th").

Literally had a year to sort it out was the same last year they are useless.

I know a lot of people are in long-term commits to the phone networks but I never trust them with launch day stuff at all.
Yeah if you want the most certainty then Apple is the way to go with keeping dates. Sky messed it up last year, people placing orders within a couple of minutes of pre-orders opening and being told delivery on launch day ended up waiting until mid-October! I've been assured they've resolved that issue for this launch though.

Gone a silver PM 2TB myself. Collection Friday.

Thats all my order panicking over for the day. Did an early order of the new Black Pearl Lego set at yikes o'clock this morning. It's already on back order!

Do you have the cancel option on the app or web? I don’t see it, and somehow I’ve placed multiple orders! Only one shows in the app, but I’ve got 3 more with order references and emails and no way to cancel them.

I got my 256GB Blue PM at 13:02 for a 19th Sep pickup (or delivery). Out of interest I did a dummy run to select the same purchase again without going through to the checkout. I did that a few minutes ago - at 13:59 - and it was quoting the delivery date (window) as 6th to 13th of Oct and no availability at my nearest Apple Stores.

I just did the same on a 256GB black iPhone Air (at 14:03) and that is still showing a 19th September delivery date or in-store pick-up. Interesting.

Pre-Ordered Orange iPhone pro with very but it hasn’t added the BNPL option does it add it when it arrives anyone know?

Tried to get it with Apple via Barclays but I think my income is low to them 😵‍💫🤦🏻‍♀️

I find this year pre order was so easy. No network congestion or crashes whatsoever!

I have pre order nearly every single iPhone from 3GS to 17 pro (except 13 and 14 on launch day)

This year the trade in price seems a little bit better then last year (£480 vs £500 for pro 128gb eg)

Not say I’m not liking Apple but I’m an android and iOS person, the gap on AI is huge! Especially on pixel phone.

See what updates on apple intelligence we will get this year.

O2 are a disgrace they changed all the prices about 15 min ago increasing the total price by approx £100 in line with all the other networks! The 17PM 512gb was at £1408 (total) to £1518!
